Hey, I’m new here but have been lurking for a while! Am honestly so frustrated with Jades insensitive actions and her manipulative university. I know it’s way too early for new thread title ideas but I have been amusing myself coming up with some - here’s one but I’m sure y’all can do better

honestly these are amazing

I posted this on her video. I'm going through one of the hardest times in my life right now. I'm falling behind on schoolwork and my mental health is bad. I wasn't going to post this, but I'm so angry. Covid disrupts people's lives and I don't think people ever stop to think that whenever they go out needlessly, they put families like mine (we are latino immigrants in the US) at risk. My parents both make minimum wage and they've missed so much work and it's going to be hard to pay rent. I think this just shows that essential workers and poor people of color are not worth basic respect and care

lol good for that woman. Huge eye roll - she'd never say "a gorgeous white woman with a ponytail came in I was like, omg, I'd love to hear her story". Notice how she didn't mention the race of anyone else in the room except this woman. She obviously saw this woman and coded her as ~exotic~ just because she is black and has braids, and therefore must have some kind of story to entertain her with?? It's verging on fetishisation at this point pls stop.

Jade. Stop acting like covid is not in Korea. You are ready to explore and have an adventure?!?!? Restrictions are the tightest they have ever been in Seoul. Doctors are literally killing themselves in Covid hospitals due to the high pressure. No vaccinations have begun. If you actually bothered to read the current Korean news .. you would know the government are desperately pleading for people to stay home. Don’t act like Covid is not a thing here. Korea is more than k pop. Actual real people live here. A major holiday in Korea is Chuseok - people stayed home. Unlike the shambles of Christmas in the UK. People make big sacrifices. But you are grateful to come to Korea to explore and travel?! Whilst Koreans are stuck inside. We have been for a year.

They're all just rich kids anyway, and real diversity is about encountering people from different backgrounds, not just from a different country.

In the description of her video with Ruby Granger where they visit the Cotswalds, she's mentioned the name of the airbnb they stayed in. I looked it up, and found Jade's airbnb profile... The owner didn't seem to like them much :/

The owner says: "We were looking forward to Jade’s visit. She had been so positive and communicated well. Unfortunately after she’d left it wasn’t so good. The cottage was left very dirty. Mud on the floor and food all over the hob. The towels just dumped on the floor. It was disappointing. And more worryingly after her visit we could smell gas. One of the hob controls had been left on. This is obviously potentially incredibly dangerous. We hope that in future Jade will treat other properties with a little more respect."
