This is all so weird.

I can't look away from this car crash, it's like a daytime movie on Five. The hubby's bit-on-the-side works her way into the family, then stabs the wife to death whilst she's asleep. Or the wronged wife offs her first.
Giovanna, you can take this as the plot for your next book.

As much as I hate Gi, what's with the dry shampoo shaming? I use it because I'm disabled. It's not as simple as "just wash it" when my hair is dirty. People make me feel shit about everything I need help with, now it's bloody dry shampoo, for fuck's sake.

I've stalked this thread for quite a while but it's now time to post.
I must admit that I did like McFly when they first appeared but I haven't listened to anything in the last decade (if not more). I also did like Gi too but they are both insufferable and twee now.
I know a few posters have mentioned that Gi seems to not "do" McFly and that Amy seems to be so enthusiastic, wearing the merch and at the gig etc. However my view is that both women have a very different view of McFly and Tom. For Gi McFly has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember. I'm sure that in the beginning it was exciting but that only lasts for so long. Eventually it becomes a chore having your partner in the public eye, touring, recording etc and you just want them home to do the dishes and bed time. Part of me thinks she was relieved when they took their hiatus as she had her husband home and the workload was shared more equally. This isn't the case for Amy, she is a fan and she is acting like a fan. The two can't be compared.
As for Gi's petty posts about her winning and having a crown I can, again, see why. For so long she was "Tom from McFlys wife" and she eventually found her place in writing (whether you enjoy her books or not). Tom then came along here and had successful children's books (with a play made about one). She then did some reality TV and won and then he jumped at the chance to do the same (even though he had other commitments). The fact that Tom didn't win is probably the only time she's got to keep something as just hers. I would be the same.
I would also say that there definitely seems to be a power imbalance here and Tom is taking advantage of it. He is the more successful and well known of the two; he is someone that she sees as a "star" and I think this is definitely influencing her actions and he's lapping it up.

If they hadnt been working throughout the pandemic or unable to work and had actually lost earnings then maybe it would be acceptable. There is no way that these 2 have not raked it in over the last 14 months, with constant ads, freebies, book deals, im a celeb win, endorsements ect ect!
While the key workers in this country have worked ridiculous hours, juggling childcare demands, keeping afloat... these 2 have gone on holiday after holiday (that they haven't paid for) had disney turn up at their house in an onwards truck to surprise their 3 entitled - want for nothing kids & set up their home with personalised little desks for their homeschooling and watch Tom and his perpetually gurning, perplexed face wonder how he could possibly homeschool them. , had Ocado deliver shopping to her to keep her spirits up while we went through the drama of her losing her 12, 000 words!!!! A kick in the teeth when 'normal' parents have not had a holiday, have managed 5 mins of reading or maths (tops!) before succumbing to the school of minecraft, all so that they can continue working their normal working day.
I have not got 1 ounce of sympathy for these 2 greedy, self serving hypocrites. I am so pleased that they have been found out and their 'apology' is as pathetic and insincere as they are. I have no doubt that they would not have paid a penny back had they not been found out.

This is a gossip forum, not wattpadHi guys. I’m new around here but stumbled upon all this gossip when I heard that Tom may have cheated on Gi and thought I’d share some snippets with you from the past when I used to know him.
We met in 2003 when McFLY were shiny and new and I became firm friends with Harry. He’d often invite me to hang out with the boys as we lived fairly close in London and so I met Toms on/off girlfriend (Giovanna) pretty quickly.
She was always quiet and standoffish and didn’t seem to want Tom to be in a band. I think she worried he’d meet someone better than her and dump her the first chance he got.
After about a year and a half of meeting the boys Tom and Gi split up. And I spent most of 2005 following them around the country supporting their tour. One night in Nottingham Tom introduced me to a girl he’d been dating for a while who was ten times better for him than Gi ever was. She was around the same age as him so 19 or 20 and she was a single mum to the sweetest little girl I’d ever met.
She and Tom seemed to be genuinely in love and managed to have a relationship where both her and the toddler stayed out of the limelight. I think a few hardcore fans knew about her but she mainly stayed out of the media. He did write a song about her though. One you all know very well and is supposedly about his wife
Sadly Gi soon wormed her way back in and he and the girl from the Midlands parted ways. Soon after he began to cheat on Gi with numerous fans and even had an argument with Harry that almost split up the band because he went after someone Harry really liked. He was a real playboy.
The last time I saw the boys was in 2011 and Harry told me that Tom and the girl from the midlands had occasionally hooked up and in 2010 she found out she was pregnant with his baby but later lost it. I believe that was the last time he saw her.
It always made me wonder why he chose Gi over her though. Especially because she was a talented writer who wanted nothing more than to be an author. Something that Gi then later went on to be. And I always wonder what happened to her. Tom seemed so in love with her that it seems so crazy that he let her go.
Before anyone asks if I’m the girl I can assure you I’m not. I was really into Harry but after dating for a few weeks he broke things off. It just wasn’t meant to be.
Anyway… I guess I’m trying to say that I think Tom would definitely cheat with Amy and Giovanna would one thousand and one per cent sit by and watch it happen without saying a word. They won’t split up though. After all they’ve got to protect the brand

I'm no fan of Giovanna but I don't like it when women are compared to their 10 (or more) years younger, pre-children selves.
Surprised at how many people are defending them across social media - McFly are my all-time favourite band but even I can see this was the wrong move. It’s a classic case of ‘just because you can, doesn’t mean you should’.

Last year Tom released two albums, launched MTA, wrote a song for Disney and had his books included in Happy Meals. Gi’s podcast took off, she released a book and she won I’m a Celeb. Not to mention all the freebies and brand deals! There’s absolutely no way they couldn’t afford to pay the salary of a single staff member.

I've been emotionally cheated on and it was somehow worse that they'd not been sexual. It felt more serious because it wasn't just lust or sexual attraction. It absolutely broke me for a long long time. As much as she's annoying, I feel incredibly sorry for Gi. Even if nothing has happened, I would be heartbroken that my partner was behaving like that so publicly
