I think it’s just for me the pure cringe of the poses and outfits not the size. I’m a chunk myself. I am not sure what kind of unique reinvention this is, I have gay friends go to gay bars and pride etc and this look or act isn’t unusual, it’s performative and very kink driven, which is fine but let’s just call it what it is. SS is openly into kink now and bringing kink into his music which is quite niche and not for everyone. Drinking piss and BDSM references just appear to be Sam indulging in a vanity project tbh, they just released another song about sex and made a video entirely about sex. It’s not really that deep.

I truely believe those that say they are non binary haven't a clue themselves, it's just a fad for attention.
Why they just don't say I'm gay, which the majority of NB seem to be.

I had an argument with a women that was a lesbian but insisted she wasn't a women and that she was non binary and a they /them, and they think we're the mad gender phobics, nutters the lot of them.

If one of my kids decided to change their pronouns I would say, don't be so bloody stupid, and grow up. I will never use pronouns to anyone, I think they are complete nonsense I see a male or a female, a he or her, have your pronouns but don't expect people to just except them, they are beyond ridiculous, find another way for attention.

I had no internet as a child I am from the 80’s. I literally had never seen it until I was in my 20’s! How can you compare us with this new generation from 2000’s on? If my parents didn’t like us watching any dodgy stuff they would just turn over the one of the 4 channels. The stuff you are talking about is men wearing make up on top of the pops once a week. It was not being streamed everywhere, all the time like it is now. It is almost impossible to not see this stuff. I don’t even use social media that much at all but I have seen more of Sam smiths nipples than I have seen my own lately.

When my kids were growing up the level of access you are constantly monitoring is mind-blowing. It is interesting you have relatively young kids, wait until you have 15 and 16 year olds - it gets harder! Of course you can shield a young child from these things with much more ease, you just block it but once they gain independence, you as parents are overpowered by all of the external influences and all you can do is hope you did enough. That’s not to say there is no responsibility for anyone else in the world to not bringing fetish porn mainstream. I don’t think we need it in mainstream society, it’s not art, it’s fetish porn.

Cardi B has a huge fan base and also a huge backlash. She is so overly sexualised and she has to be more and more risqué to stand out - that’s the point. Desensitisation of society is a bad thing. We should be ok with being shocked by things and not liking them. We do not have to accept everything we see and like it. Society shouldn’t be pushing us all to accept everything in front of us, I have my boundary and it’s no one else’s right to tell me I’m wrong and they are right just because it isn’t seen as woke enough. This veers into the debate about women being erased from society and I agree that they are. Even mothers now aren’t allowed to have an opinion on how society might harm their kids. Guess what, if mainstream fetish porn harms our kids it’s all the fault of mothers!
