Been thinking about her collaboration with IN the Style to put out a line of accessible clothing. As someone with only the use of one hand and occasionally using a wheelchair (cerebral palsy), it requires so much more than a zipper or snap opening on a shirt or sweatshirt. Designers needs to work with all sorts of disabled people to test the clothes. It requires nuanced fasteners and fabric and time to consult with us - we’re not all the same.
It bugs me when people think accessible clothing is just a zipper here and there.
I’m not sure a fast fashion cheap brand is up to the task. That said, if she wants to design a port accessible top, have at it but I doubt NNL knows much about inclusive clothing.
