Louise is an absolute idiot. Traipsing around the whole country visiting everyone and their nan mourning the loss of “her summer” as she wanted it to be completely blind to the fact that most of our lives are in a heap and on hold. Sorry but if I hear her go on about New York one more time I’ll lose my marbles. Okay so it wasn’t meant to be. Move on! She brings it up in every single post. Most of our lives are down the shitter Louise have some self awareness. Another thing that annoys me is her prancing about half naked in her pretty little thing tat. I can’t imagine sauntering about my house in half nothing with my dad and brother about that probably says more about me than her but Jesus, I cringe at the shit she wears. Fabulous figure don’t get me wrong but what’s with the teeny shorts and low cut top while slothing it out on the couch at home in Limerick.
I think she’s the type of person who watched too many American cheesy cheerleading movies as a teen and now wants to recreate that life for herself in ny, the next Lauren Conrad making it big in fashion. Most of us grew out of that shite at the age of 19 and got into the real world but it’s like she’s still stuck in that teenybopper age. And don’t get me started on poor cooper in NY. She wanted him for the insta pics but the poor thing was depressed from the minute he got off the plane

With global warming and companies trying to be "sustainable" and "eco friendly" how does Benefit justify flying floggers half way across the world to advertise for them!? Such an unnecessary trip for undeserving people who could afford to go out of their own pocket.

I hate all this shit that the instahuns post about been sick of covid etc….absolutely nothing changed for Louise. She’s been on numerous foreign holidays, travelled all over Ireland for free and had soooooo many nights out.

I agree. I think some influencers are disconnected from reality which is Lou's case. Lou is very simple minded and lives in this bubble where she doesn't have to face the harsh realities of life. The pandemic has given a different perspective to people. I used follow quite a few influencers as I loved fashion and used to buy tons and tons of clothing. With the pandemic and the fact we had nowhere to go, I realized I spent lots of money on clothes that ultimately ended up in a donation pile a few months later, which was a huge financial write-off. That's when I started losing interest in influencers. I still like to dress stylish, but I buy a lot less and I try to focus on quality over quantity, which is why influencers like Lou have become of little interest to me (not that I ever looked up to her for fashion advice).

Lou is stuck in a pre-pandemic era (and probably the early 2010s with her stupid mirror shots). She brings nothing to the influencing world. She doesn't have a peculiar style. She never talks about important causes and when she does, it's one story here or there, but never or rarely on her actual feed. Her content is of poor quality. People are eventually going to be fed up of seeing the same Zara / Farfetch hauls and it's not like we don't know what The Ivy looks like! It's always the same boring stuff - workouts, lunch/dinner, Zara hauls, lookfantastic partnership, Farfetch promo code. Go on Sophie Murray's IG and it's the same stuff. These influencers are not bringing anything new to the table and it's getting old.

I think this whole IG influencer thing is going to die down the same way beauty gurus started disappearing from YouTube.

Reading the thread i don't think anyone is unhappy for her or reading the comments it's not that it's the 1950s and she should be shone away for having a baby out of wedlock! People do things at different stages, baby, wedding, house whatever! What's weird about Clue-Lous pregnancy announcement is that is falls outside influencer 101. She drip feed the fella for as long as she could for engagement - an elbow here or there a meal for 2, the pint of Guiness. Wore white to every weekend away, the thirst for an engagement ring was real! One would have expected Lou Lou to get engaged milk it for as long as physically possible, House milk for as long as possible- interiors freebies, doing it up, then do up the nursesy to then announce pregnancy, kids and move into the "mom influencer" space! Kid is planned or unplanned who cares, but it just falls so out of sync with Vanilla planner Louise!

I’ve never been clooless Lou’s biggest fan but have to say I’ve warmed to her lately with how she’s handled her social media since giving birth. Comparing her to Sarah Burke is like night and day.

What struck me most of all about the whole Cloo thing so far is that she hasn't at any point justified the creation of her brand.
She has never gone "I lived in active-wear all through lockdown and I noticed after a while I kept thinking "this top would be better if it had more ventilation", "these leggings always slide down when I'm leaning down taking shots of my feet in autumn leaves: why can't I get exactly the styles I want from existing brands? I should create my own brand that addresses these issues"
I mean it would be fake as fuck but that's what you say! That's the narrative people want to hear!
Nobody wants to hear "I realised there must be serious money in it so I bought a load of tat from China and slapped a poorly conceived (and seemingly misspelt) hypocorism on it", even if that is the truth.

I met Louise in passing while I was in college. She was going out with a classmate of mine. She is absolutely stunning, but she has all the personality of a saucepan.

Ah I must say pregnancy has made me warm to her a bit more she seems to be so excited and loving every bit of the journey . The announcement and name aren’t annoying , pics not overly staged . When people say she will get a shock etc .. of course she will be it’s the same for everyone as a first time mother . It’s a huge shock to the system esp if the baby is relentless . I think she will be grand
