I feel like we are going round in circles with the conversations on this thread 🤦🏼‍♀️ I swear we’ve had the “if she really wanted kids she’d lose weight” discussion 3 or 4 times now!

So why have you preached so much about fast fashion and buying investment pieces if you’ve been a fan of ITS for years? They’re the worst company going for fast fashion. Such a hypocrite! And Adam hates fat people, he’s only inclusive because he thinks he’s got to be.

When the HELL did Laura Adlington become a Doctor or a medical professional!?!? 🤬

Plus who put Laura as the self appointed spokesperson for obese people? 🤬

She has TOTALLY lost her way. She is very obese and needs to deal with her own obesity and health, before ranting like a fish wife.

All she's doing is EVERYTHING to avoid addressing her own issues AND trying to profit from doing so 🤬

I’m so over her campaigning for bigger her sizes by all brands.

Yes it’s a PITA when you love something but it doesn’t go up to your size; I’m short. For many brands that stock petite lengths, they’ll only do so in certain, safe selling patterns and colours, and they no way stock everything they sell in petite length.

If you’re very tall, I imagine it’s a similar problem, or even more restricted.

What about fuller busts - shall I start a campaign against off the shoulder and strapless/strappy summer dresses because I don’t feel comfortable in strapless bras?

Sorry but I just feel like Laura’s campaign is all about Laura getting what she wants, and not about inclusion at all.

There’s a far broader range of sizes and shapes available now than there ever was, but we all have our bugbears.

The fact that she absolutely throws her toys out of the pram over a dress that won’t fit but doesn’t seem a cancer charity worth promoting, has actually really annoyed me 😡

Laura could learn a lot from Lauren’s latest content. She’s been invited to a PR event and properly covered it, showing the clothes properly and expressing genuine excitement, and declaring that it’s ad/gifted. And then she’s followed it with a proper chat about a real plus size dressing issue (the tucking in trend) done in a body positive/neutral but sympathetic way. This is was plus size fashion influencing should look like - not a quick front-on shot wearing an outfit that doesn’t even fit you properly with 3 toes poking out the side of your sandals.

Gosh she’s just so entitled!
How dare she accuse the people at the bottom of the chain of lying?!!
It must be a massive blow for them if they have to apply for a mortgage again, but all
that matters is how it has inconvenienced Laura 😡
Not an ounce of empathy or sympathy for anyone but herself.
She’s absolutely insufferable and spoilt!
That was quite a nasty thing to say wasn’t it. They are lying. Shit happens buying houses, it’s one of the most horrible things to do (process wise) and until you have keys in your hand, anything can happen.
Would it be okay though if HER mortgage offer ran out. Would it be okay for the other people to go on instagram and call her a liar. Mortgage offers do run out, it’s a thing, they’re only good for a matter of months. Those people probably feel absolutely shit and if they have to apply again, who knows if they’ll get the same terms. It’s all about Laura though…she has to sit in her nice house another while. How tragic.
I only dip in and out of this one and read the thread here but the negativity dripping off her is unreal levels, I’d say the husband has to calm her down most evenings about something, she has a temper for sure. Why didn’t she stick to baking cakes with a bit of fashion on the side.

It def wouldn’t harm you to walk 10000 steps a day Laura, this girl claims to be anti diet but she slams anything that is pro health also. I kinda see what she was trying to say but in my eyes its just her being negative and using any excuse to not try and lose weight. And as for Laurens stupid comment about ‘a man’ choosing that number… SHUT UP, god she is annoying! It wouldnt harm her to walk 10000 steps a day either! I feel like with these 2 they just want to eat crap and live an unhealthy lifestyle and use there podcast to justify it (saying this as somebody who could do with losing 2-3 stone)

I’m going to start a campaign that my bra should cost 30% of Laura’s because my entire bra takes less fabric than one cup of her… let’s not mention clothes. Let’s see how fast I get absolutely obliterated…

She needs to just realise that her body is actually not meant to be that size. There is no way in hell she is healthy, she feels good in her skin and she is living her best possible life.

Her constant moodiness could actually be down to hormonal issues that she should address, rather than eat her feelings constantly and moan about everything.

She complains about the house while they are doing major landscaping work. Some people would just love to actually own a home, let alone get a blank canvas and get everything brand new and decorate however you want.

She has no awareness. She's in a privileged position to be able to move house and when it gets stressful she can book her favourite hotel for a night. People are struggling to heat their homes and this twat is sharing hideous dresses that don't flatter her honey monster figure and bragging about a hotel stay. Can't even bring myself to hate follow her anymore

Laura has just summed up my hatred of band tees as a fashion item rather than because you like the band. Saying the Blondie t shirt is sold out and then saying but here’s a similar one and it’s a Guns N’ Roses one! As though all band tees are interchangeable! This is something that annoys me generally it’s not Laura specific!!

I say this as a plus size person - not being able to find clothes during shopping trips outside Yours etc is what motivated me to start losing weight. Everyone has a "wake up" moment and I'm very fortunate mine wasn't a health scare. Of course everybody should be catered for but the reality is, the bigger you are, the fewer choices you have. It's not fair, but it's just business. You can either let it fuel anger or drive change in yourself.

She's not in a dress!!!!!!
Love how she says she's finally found a t-shirt long enough. Hmm 🤔 so when she was 'designing' her own range with ITS she didn't think to make that a priority!? Hope ITS drop her. I saw during the week Adam ITS said he has severed links with some previous collaborators mainly due to their bad attitude and lack of manners.
She's done very little to promote her range with them and has been championing other brands since including indirectly insulting ITS by claiming she finally found a long t-shirt.

7/8 months wait is fairly standard I thought? Maybe the bottom of the chain thought their offer was going to expire or would have if it didn’t go through asap?

its literally her, Matt and the dog in the house it’s not like they were running out of space and NEEDED to move. She’s insufferable lately.

Looked at that black monsoon dress, its quite nice actually! Looked at the size and she is wearing the biggest size which is an XXL/size 24… so shes happy to promote clothes that stop at a 24 when all she usually does it whinge about brands that do that but this dress happens to be generous so it’s fine…. She isnt an advocate for plus size, shes only an advocate for herself! As long as it fits Laura then all is well.

Another thing that pisses me off with her is she often states on the podcast how she HATES the term ‘midsize’ … why? Because it doesnt relate to her, I for one appreciate that term as a size 14 who doesnt want to wear body cons but also doesn’t want to wear ‘plus size’ fashion… she claims to be about inclusivity but really she only cares about herself!

All she has to do is bake a couple of cakes a week, show us a few outfits and make some ads and everyone who follows her would be happy. She could even touch on mental health from time to time and that would be fine too.

No one followed her for this misery fest.

The worst thing about Laura is that, the best thing about her is her weight. She has a terrible attitude, she’s snappy, isn’t personable, defensive at everything, she’s sly with the ads and hiding when it is an ad, she slates her husband to a world audience, she’s judgemental and spiteful towards others and sadly all of those things are likely because she’s been picked on for her weight and has then created that habit of emotional eating.
I had to eventually get therapy for my binge eating because I would eat on any emotion because that’s how I comforted myself. I lived in a binge restrict binge cycle of abusing myself. She doesn’t need to lose weight to be happy, but she does need to deal with the root cause of why she is because I would put money on the fact that if she had therapy and healed the wound of emotional eating, the weight would drop off her. Weight loss in itself doesn’t make you happy and healthy if you’re still bingeing and have unhealthy coping patterns, but healing your brain naturally makes life easier to deal with and not turn to food for comfort.
