I know this is Laura’s thread but I’ve just seen a video of her friend Lauren smithy crying about money and how hard it is - whilst Laura is off buying a 1.2 million pound house 🤦‍♀️
I’m glad Lauren is talking about money and trying to normalise it - I hope people wake up to it that not everyone is fortunate

Sounds to me like a neighbour may have complained. They moved in 5 minutes ago and brought diggers with them straight into the garden. It’s a small development only 4 houses. I reckon she’s pissed a few people off.

but seriously that’s the most stressful week of her life? Yeah don’t have kids Laura. Or ever get a real job again. You wouldn’t cope love.

Ahh here we go withe top of the head dumb selfies Lottie Drynana started AND she is complaining the same exact way about the same exact things she did when she got her house. There is a cost of living crisis and her biggest issue is that she can’t get everything fast enough. Like… maybe consider for a second why that is and that you’re part of the problem
Did she really just pay a small fortune for a house and now allows herself to feel it’s not “right or good enough”. If this isn’t the clearest signal that she isn’t cut out for instagram. She constantly compares herself to others, makes herself miserable in the process and spends all day looking for more shit to make herself feel better. And if she’s looking for “spring fashion” then brace yourselves, it’ll be wall to wall florals within the month!

Editing because I just saw the plate story. Did she just walk out of her old house and leave everything behind? I know they sold it furnished but does she know she could have brought her fucking plates? 🙄

And walking 10k steps a day is useless so dont bother (in lauras world)

Try it Laura and see if its a 'marketing tool' or if it does have benefits to your body & mind.
I’ve just seen this and it’s really pissed me off, of course doing 10000 steps is better for your body than doing half that amount, any movement when you’re bigger is surely better? I understand the sentiment of what she’s saying, that it’s essentially an arbitrary number that was plucked out of thin air, but again she has just come off as someone who is so negative towards everything, and that’s something else she’ll use as an excuse not to move her body.
I’ve recently started to lose weight and move more, and part of that has been doing at least 10000 steps a day, it does help and was a great start to help me get my fitness levels back up. Eugh, she’s so fucking annoying.

The gingham dress is way to tight across the bus the buttons are bursting wear your size Laura stop trying to squeeze in to a size that’s too small for you.
View attachment 2861924
The pink beach dress is too short at the back you would see her knickers or chub rub shorts. She has photoshopped her legs again!!
All M and S all size 24 squeezing into them all again. They are all too small and will be very tight across the back. She is a size 26!! Marks and Spencer stop at a size 24.
View attachment 2861972How it’s supposed to look. Loose and flowing. View attachment 2861983View attachment 2861984View attachment 2861986Not bulk tight on the model. Laura squeezed into it as it has an elastcated back.
Not that I want to stick up for Laura as she is insufferable most of the time but to be fair to her she did not claim to be a size 24 she just said she ordered these in a 24 as the styles are a bit more forgiving and she even admits herself the gingham dress is snug across her bust.

i also think it’s a bit pointless comparing how a dress looks on her to how it looks on a size 6 model with what looks like a very flat chest. Anyone with boobs bigger than an A cup is going to fill out the top of the dress.

About a year ago I started following quite a few plus size influencers as I had put a lot of weight on for various reasons, and saw all these happy confident people wearing nice clothes, having fun etc and I started following for a bit of inspiration really.
But as time goes on and I see their daily stories it actually made me feel the complete opposite of the message Laura's trying to convey.
Seeing her struggle to tie her shoe, be out of breath doing minimal things, looking frumpy and fed up all the time, makes me want to get healthier.
I have stopped following not just laura but multiple influencers as I want to diet and exercise and almost feel a bit brainwashed into thinking somehow that's a bad thing.
So 2024 is the year I look after myself, I don't quite know what that's going to involve yet but I will be happier dropping a dress size or 2.

Imagine spending 1.2 million pounds on a house and not being allowed to do as you please with it 🤣
Also digging up the entire garden only to be told you've fucked up 🤣😂🤣
Can ponds really be this popular i mean I don't know anyone with a pond or wanting a pond.

She looked SO uncomfortable on Lorraine yesterday when Lorraine kept repeating "As long as you're healthy" etc.

(Starts around 13:05)
It was actually a bit uncomfortable hearing Lorraine parrot “as long as you’re healthy” while sitting beside Laura who despite what she claims, simply is not healthy at that size and looked visibly uncomfortable.

I’m massive too at the minute, and being so short it’s worse. And my knees are sore, I struggle to walk, my mood is low, none of my clothes fit etc. There’s so way she isn’t feeling it. But I’m not trying to shift a book claiming I’m totally fine and everyone else like me should be too.

A paid ad from Sainsbury’s TU, where all but two of the garments featured have a top size of 24 and even those two have no availability in a 26 online. Happy to take their money even though they don’t make her size in many things (she does not point this out, unsurprisingly).

The shirt and trench coat do not fasten, hence why she is wearing them open. Money talks, eh Laura?

That dress is an example of upsizing standard sizes not working. It needs more space in the bust so that it finishes under bust rather than hitting across it. If you look at it on the model it's not meant to sit like that at all. But they badly upsize without thinking about changing proportions to make it look similar.

And I am a size 22 so speak from experience. I don't want to see dresses like this. I want to see things cut to fit properly and I want my influencers to be honest about stuff.

She is absolutely awful the way she speaks about her husband. Making out its a miracle they haven't argued in the car. She needs to keep those thoughts in her head and not share publicly. Makes him out to be an ogre. Am sure she's hardly easy breezy to live with either, seems like a proper mardy mare.

100% agree with those saying the company should have been named and shamed. Absolutely terrible to send that message and undoubtedly Laura would have opened that and felt like she’d have been punched in the stomach. A very insensitive mistake and isn’t on at all. The company should have researched properly, very lazy of them!

I’ve lost weight over the last 3yrs I was a size 22-24, i was hot & sweaty constantly, out of breath, looked bloody awful looking back on pics of myself, I’ve got down to a size 14, feel better in myself, my health is better, I walk 5 miles a day don’t struggle getting off the settee, it’s harsh but if she carries on she won’t make it to 40 at this rate.
