Ok ive just finished the first episode.

I completely understand what she means when she said she couldnt do this type of content on itgalz. I wasnt too mad about the pimple part, i actually skipped it but absolutely adored the rest. But can you imagine her talking about Jungian archetype and ancient religion on xgalz? Can you imagine what L would have to bring to that convo? J is interested in such deep topics and im absolutely here for it, but i agree it wont be for everyone. Fair play to her as well for talking about her therapist on the very first episode. I actually prefer this content over to the xgalz content when the girls were still together. Yes ill miss the laughs and the dynamic but a lot of it was surface level. This could be the best thing that happened to J.

Meanwhile L is interviewing some random MUA…

They will both have their audience, it just really depends what are you into. I can see both of them doing well because they are so different.

Maybe set up a rave thread for the Jenny stans. The constant fawning over her is getting tired.

Good on L - the small bits we see of her these days she seems to have a lovely life. A single mum was on here the other day saying she feels lonely so listens to a lot of podcasts. L has a lovely home, friends always over and her kids seem so well behaved and happy. She looked gorgeous in those snaps the other day as well she’s grown up her style and looks fab imo. No need to drag every single post she puts up. J posts daily and no one cares to comment because imo she can try as hard as she likes with the vlog and RR but she never had a touch of what L had. I hope L comes back she’s so unique and I miss hearing about her mad life and opinions

1000%!!! So many “ I can’t lose this platform” not “well maybe my ten year friendship is more important so we’re going on hiatus”?? And like she even said she contacted the venues for the shows on her own - like I get her and Jenny aren’t talking, but like she can’t just plough ahead as if the shows/podcast are 100% hers. Like it’s not up to her to decide she’ll do the shows alone

Full disclosure I only joined tattle as a disgruntled XGal, after the spilt I hung on for a bit until patreon became a bitchy echo chamber where I got pounced on for questioning L’s actions during the split.

I’ve chosen to subscribe to J’s pod because I like the vibe and I also respect how she handled the split. At the same time I’m observing L and how she plays things and hoping against hope that she also finds her niche.
But I have to stick my neck out now. Since L’s “statement” and subsequent break, it’s really hard to take this new “rebranding” that she’s put out today. Too little, too late. It just feels like she’s emulating J’s comeback. It doesn’t feel authentic.
It’s not just about getting some sexy pics and a tag line, there’s research, dedication and hard work required for earning that podcast wage.

Nope, she says the J and her were trying to come to an agreement, for L to buy her out but they couldn’tagree. They both are seeking legal advice and L seemed pissed. Seems like she feels that if J doesn’t want to the pod then it’s hers, but clearly that’s not how the world works. Her attitude just was awful so condescending to paying subscribers and supporters. I think if anyone is on J side or neutral will be pretty shocked and maybe we might see a push back on that. Now she’s playing voice notes from supporters how self indulgent. She also said she reads here, so hi Lindsay would you ever make your own podcast where your little flock of minions can listen to you drivel on. It would properly be better for you to surrounded by your supporters anyway.

I’ve had a strong gut feeling from the beginning that Jenny was hard done by.. I’m prob biased because I’ve always preferred her over Lindsay but there’s just something not sitting right with me about this situation. It’s very out of character for Jenny so I feel something really bad must have happened

On the Lauren Bejaoui podcast, Lauren was showing real self awareness and maturity and insight about getting into multiple toxic relationships. She acknowledged the exes were awful but also took ownership of the fact that she was the common denominator in these relationships and acknowledged instantly how difficult it must have been for her friends to listen to her, give her advice that was ignored and watch it happen again and again. Instantly you could tell Lindsay was highly uncomfortable with this narrative as it clearly hit close to the bone and she instantly deflected with “stop victim blaming yourself”. I don’t know what counsellor she’s going to but a good one will make you self reflect and take ownership of where you’ve gone wrong where you enter a repetitive pattern of behaviours with toxic people. Lindsay doesn’t seem to ever have taken ownership for any of her mistakes. It’s always these terrible things that just happen to her. I really hope with therapy she can work through it because honestly until you accept responsibility for your own behaviours you can never truly move on from something.

yeah I do try not to judge anyone (lol) but I did think at the time that Lindsays antics at Christmas really reflected badly on the pod. Between the breakups, Covid rule breaking, blatently lying about having Covid herself then the instant new boyf, the inappropriate lives with that child, getting stuck into Kneevo fighting on live, the bad press at them shouting at the disabled man in Cork etc…. She was on a string of questionable behaviour….I wouldn’t blame Jenny for being annoyed. Even though she’s hilarious, She was such a liability to them for brand deals etc.
also Lindsay had been on a steady streak of alienating past guests of the pod and slandering them publically.. Keemon, Sophie Murray etc…. I’m sure Jenny agreed with the Sophie Murray thing but she didn’t slam her as much in my memory.
Also I wouldn’t mind but linds was practically licking her hole on the pod literally the week before.
