I know right, or that bigger noses are “masculine”. I’m Indian and was constantly bullied for having Indian features. I personally don’t find larger features unattractive on a person. Botched aesthetics where people fuck up their face in the name of “beauty” is a different story.

here's the thing with this chick

NO ONE believes she thinks victoria secret bras are great. If so she'd have already talked about them.

Last year she flogged some other cheap bra brand who apparently doesn't work with her anymore and guess what? She never talks about them now that the paycheck cut out

there's no authenticity with this chick and as a result her word/opinion means jack shit.

She has three modes:

Super Boz Bitch - wears blazer = v successful, never been prouder, much excited, squeals with happiness.
Vix from Wigan - not like other influencers, way Kool, haz tattoos and Pelotons to Fall Out Boy - much edge, did she mention she's nothern?
Burnt Out - selling viscose sweaters and blazers are causing marriage problems, the five star hotels aren't five starring - she's working harder than anyone ever, and her drivers are responsible for all her problems.

This to me is really her weakest point. It’s unbelievable that literally EVERYONE (even REAL celebs) manage to get their content up on time, but not our Vic. And we’re not talking about vlogs that need editing here, no, just a simple picture of her outfit she cannot manage. It’s ridiculous. Especially on a night like the BAFTAs where everyone knows it’s happening. It’s not bc her team is not big enough it’s bc she’s an insecure loser who needs 2 days to photoshop her images

Why is she questioning the reasons she’s not invited to certain shows when her branding is all about advertising Sky TV, laundry detergent, fridges and the odd haul of oversized shirts, all while working for Holland Cooper, a glorified River Island that is aimed at horse riders, not designer wearing fashion girlies. Influencers like Tamara, Caro, Bryan Boy etc live, bleed and breathe fashion. Tamara wouldn’t be seen dead inserting a 10minute section into a vlog about laundry detergent, she won’t even mention perfume for more than a few seconds. Pick a lane Victoria, do you want to be a fashion influencer or a lifestyle influencer? All she will ever be is a lifestyle influencer who gets to attend the odd fashion show and be paid to talk about their beauty and perfume ranges. She will never be a front row seater at the top shows again. I hope whatever Sky pay her was worth it because she damaged her brand by making stupid decisions like that.

Skipped through the latest vlog. Here are my thoughts:

There is no better time than RIGHT NOW for her to seek professional therapy/counseling. I don’t mean that in a bad way either!! Shes in an identity crisis. We all saw it with the erratic crying on her bike and now we know why.

She had this dream (albeit naive) to launch a suiting brand probably to establish herself as more than just a *swipe up* affiliate marketing influencer. Now she’s having to bear it on the chin that that is in fact what she is for the foreseeable future (her words). Surely she sees that she’s not keeping pace with Leonie, Tamara, etc on the fashion circuit. She’d already bowed out quite a bit pre covid because of the man child and now after a pandemic — trying to establish herself as something more than Miss Voucher against a crowd of high fashion it girls with more connections won’t be easy. Having followers simply isn’t enough to make it and be accepted.

As a business woman I have to say I also really wouldn’t want to be in her shoes. Yes she’s done it all to herself but it’s not a comfortable spot to be in.

She has her childish husband and two friends’ livelihoods relying on her. I care a good deal about my staff’s salaries and wellbeing as well as worry about the success of the business as a whole — but when your entire “team” is really just your three best friends that’s a level of concern I wouldn’t want to touch.

THIS is why “don’t mix business with pleasure” and “it’s not personal, it’s business” became such true statements because personal relationships mess things up so much more in an already complicated working world.

It was a mistake to build her team the way she has and you can tell she had no real professional advisor weighing in because anyone with a lick of sense would’ve cautioned her against it if she really wants to go far as a business woman. You can’t just hire your pals! You need qualified people with the right experience to play a good long game.

But then again, and this is a big reason why I don’t like Vicky, she has a smug and superior attitude like she’s the smartest person in the room even when she knows jack shit. So, if anyone DID try to warn her against only having personal friends work for her maybe she blew that advice off.

Sorry for the ramble! Watching her flounder I couldn’t help but think of how she’s a victim of her own naive decisions and in need of solid, unbiased, third-party input to help her sort it all out. Personally I think should take a month not necessarily off work but definitely offline to re-evaluate and get a new strategy together.

But then... can her “team” get by if the cash cow isn’t milking screen time for a month?

ALSO — what do you think her next “project” is that’s going to debut Sunday apparently? Strathberry? Another plastic makeup bag? More dodgy jewelry? A line of dog collars for Boe and the husband??

The thing is, Victoria, Fashion is a fast-moving industry. What's new today is old tomorrow. Who's on top might be fired tomorrow. Trends come and go.

Also, influencers such as Leonie, Caro, and Tamara can update as the things are unfolding, in real-time. Also, Victoria, there are a lot of fashion interns working for influencers too. They hire them for fashion weeks. You must be broke or extremely skimpy to be unable to get extra hands.

No one in this thread feels sorry for you, Vic. This must be the busiest fashion month you've had since you left Gleam, and you sound totally rude and classless. You don't seem grateful for all these events, free stuff was given to you and Alex.

And then when she comes back to her attic, she's gonna be moaning because she's back there and not invited again anywhere. But when she goes out to 'travel', she can't do stuff real-time and moans on how no one's giving her attention, and no one seems to be head over heels for her and her stubby legs.

Vicky is truly one of a kind when it comes to her blatant stupidity. She doesn’t represent anything she thinks she does about female empowerment, feminism, absolutely nothing. She is a caricature of overconsumption and late stage capitalism with a healthy dose of body image issues and just absolutely pathetic “I’m always the victim” mentality and what it means to be in a super unhealthy relationship.

Sorry for another long post But I think Vic has stringent b#dy issues & he likes her small & tiny (remember the food shaming) ..and she LOVES being small & tiny, & knows he does too. And she desperately wants him to like her small body so she works hard on her peloton of cringe-singing-cycling & endless spinning. BUT he deeply resents her for not using said body for small babies. However, she knows if she has babies her body will no longer be small & that would send her into a BIG tail-spin …then she will resent HIM for having to sacrifice her small bodiness!

Then if baby comes, he might criticise her P/Partum body & pressure her to not eat cheese & get desired small body back quickly. This might make her want to gouge his eyes out, but she’ll hit the gymn hard for ‘return of the small body’ & her man’s small-minded approval ….By which stage he’ll be too besotted with the baby that ruined her smallness …& the cycle of size, self-obsession & resentment continues.

And this concludes my theory of Smollness.

Can we normalize not doing anything? Like even during the week where most of us just try to shut off for a bit or get caught up on our day jobs, Vic has to brag about doing all the things. I mean, most of these things us normal people do on weekends, but still.

Can we all come together to end influencer culture this year? I feel like that's an objective that can unite the very divided society we live in.

With the raging pandemic, the climate disasters and human rights violations happening left and right its really just so nauseating whenever influencers chime in with their latest gifted trip, beauty treatment and outfit. Like y'all look soooooo dumb for real! ‍

Do I have a spa day booked this weekend? Yes. Do I have a beach trip this month? Also yes. Will I be paying for them myself and not whoring myself out for attention Instagram? YOU BET!

I don't think it's selfish to not want a kid (now or forever), I think it's being honest about what you don't want from life. What would be selfish is misleading the other person about what you want. She's now been clear that's not what she wants from her future and if Alex really did want a kid and couldn't live without that possibility then he would need to be clear about that desire on his part and leave for the possibility of that life elsewhere. Presumably the fact that he hasn't means that he has decided that he's ok with them not having kids. Their siblings have kids so maybe they're happy with being an Auntie and Uncle (the best way to experience kids in my view).

The fact that they bought a dog in lockdown with little regard to life after lockdown tells me everything about whether or not they should have a child.

I think she might feel very lonely but I think if she does that will be down to something lacking in her, rather than the lack of a child and isn't something a child would fulfil.
