Interesting detective work but to be fair Eve made a big point of saying how they were just friends for a long time before they got together so it's not as if he was necessarily cheating on his girlfriend with Eve. In fact if I remember rightly she might have actually said something about him being in a relationship when she first met him at uni.

They didn’t ‘change the advice’ they never advised her to go in the first place? Spain is in a state of alarm, the rules are really fucking clear on the government website lmao, if you’re coming from the UK and you aint resident or citizen, don’t even bother because you wont be allowed in? These same travel restrictions have been in place since the start of the year, nothing has changed recently. Her best bet is to just stop worrying about it and trying to find a way around it, and just wait until the 16th of March to see if they lift these restrictions or extend them

This is maybe an unpopular opinion, but I don’t think anyone is in a position to say if someone else has or doesn’t have an eating disorder. If Eve says she’s had an eating disorder, she has.

1) there are other eating disorders other than anorexia.
2) you can have an eating disorder and still be suffering without being underweight and dying in hospital.

This kind of attitude is why lots of people don’t seek help for eating disorders.

Literally idk why this is a discussion lol, she's been open in her videos that she would sleep with people but hasn't found someone she wants to sleep with yet. She's pretty transparent on this stuff.

Anyone else find their reaction to Liv not being able to get a ticket hilarious? They're all panicked and scrabbling around social media begging someone to give them one like it's the end of the world. It's so entitled of them as well, acting like this is a massive injustice to them because they deserve these tickets. This is a class example of how privileged people react when they don't get their way & it's showed them all up horribly imo

Edit - also, common sense would be to ask once and if unsuccessful (like they were) wait nearer the time (obv if the festival goes ahead) as someone is bound to have changed plans/decided not to go. If you ask for tickets straight after launch, they'll either be extortionately priced on purpose or just non-existent because, funnily enough, most people bought them because they wanted them *sigh*

When privileged people encounter a system or set of rules that doesn't cater to them for the first time they really cannot cope can they

Tbf, I don’t think there’s much wrong with Eve going to the beach??? It’s allowed in Spain so why not? Assuming she won’t be too busy yet prep wise for her job since she’s only just started. Can’t believe I’m defending her but I don’t think she’s done anything wrong with this one

Know it’s unrelated, but I’d put Eve Cornwell into the bracket with Ruby, Jack, Jade and all the other annoying Studytubers.

Pretentious, annoying, tries way too hard to be quirky, wanting coffee to be her personality and on her own page, those who worked with her while she a trainee said she was arrogant and thought she was better than the rest of them, without being particularly good at her job.

All in all, Eve Bennett is the only one I can think of amongst the big ones that has shown genuine character development, seems like a nice, normal person and someone I’d happily want to have as a friend.

I don’t keep up with Eve anymore but it’s quite funny she doesn’t realise how little nobody cares about her year abroad...like I would even understand tweeting about it once, yep that’s shit I’m sorry Eve I know that you’d be looking forward to it. But once is enough you know.
I haven’t seen my family since Dec 2019 now and I haven’t tweeted about it or put how sad I am on social media anywhere (except Tattle lol) because I know people who have lost family and friends due to covid. Ultimately while it is hard for me and yes I’m allowed to be upset - my family will still be there when this is over. Similarly she can go to Spain after the pandemic or after her degree...like Spain will still be there when this is all over you know? People don’t need a constant reminder of her losing her year abroad, because people do have it worse and I’m sorry but if you take a step back in the bigger scheme of things it really doesn’t matter at all.

You might have plenty of opportunities to have sex at uni, but that doesn't mean you want to take them! I had precisely no sex at uni and that wasn't because I didn't have the opportunity, I just didn't meet anyone who I wanted to have sex with or it didn't work out. It happens!

I think Eve knows what she wants and she wants to have a boyfriend, not a hook up. And if she hasn't met anyone that is what she needs or wants then fair enough and good for her.

Yeah I definitely remember Eve saying in her video that he had been in a previous relationship that had lasted a while. I really don’t think it’s that odd? He was pals with Eve until their final year - I mean guys can have girl friends whilst being in a relationship, right? And if rob at any point had feelings for Eve whilst he was still in his relationship then that’s on him not her lol

I think what speaks volumes more than anything is if you go to the first page of this thread (and even basing it off the title), the majority of the comments towards Eve are negative and critical. Now, I'd say around 99% of the comments on this thread are praise or overwhelmingly positive. I can't think of a single other Studytuber that generates that response. If that doesn't reflect growth, I don't know what does.

I'd put a lot of that down to her focusing on herself, her work and her relationships, rather than trying to make her entire life a show and expect us to see a perfected casual magic, get up at 5am morning routine and go back to her old school even though I left 4 years ago version of herself. Social media and YouTube is clearly lower down the priority line for her right now, which is why she's developed that way. She wants to be a journalist and is well on track to achieving that. Great for her and so happy this thread is full of love for her and her accomplishments.

From Eve‘s twitter.... omg how entitled of her!!! People are getting vaccinations to prevent them from dying not so they can go on holiday!!! She literally thinks everything revolves around her. I’d love to go on holiday but obvs vulnerable people getting the vaccine is more important than me going on holiday? Not as if she hasn’t been enjoying life again, she’s literally been all over the Country last summer and broke every rule under the sun in Berlin !!!

I remember something from the gurugossiper days, Eve put a post up once for Mothers day and said something about her Step Mum been in her life for the past 8 years, at this point step mum was only 24, so she'd been with Eve's Dad at 16! I'd feel pretty uncomfortable only been 6 years younger than step mum!
