Am I the only one that doesn't buy in to this Eve being a virgin thing? It just seems so unlikely that she would have reached 20/21, being at Uni around what is usually a hook up/casual sex culture and not be involved in that? She's an attractive girl so I don't think it's a case that she wouldn't have boys interested in her. I don't believe she is a virgin but I expect that she thinks that it helps her image as a study YouTuber to portray herself that way.
I think you'd be surprised at how many people haven't had sex by the time they've finished uni, it's more common than you think. I just don't think anyone talks about it for fear of being judged. It's not a bad thing to not have had/had sex during uni. I also think Eve wouldn't lie about being a virgin or not (not that it matters at all lol) to keep her studytube image bc what's the advantage?

Just watched Eve's latest video and without trying to sound cheesy, I'm genuinely proud to see the person she's blossomed into.

I grew up watching all the Studytubers - Eve, Jade, Ruby, Holly, Jack, you name them; they all helped me get through my GCSEs and A-Levels and it was great to have such a positive community full of people you genuinely wanted to be successful. Since then, most of the classic Studytube has been a car crash. Jade is still het up on an Oxford rejection from 6 years ago, preaching and trying to convince herself that her scam university was actually worthwhile; Ruby still prances around in her garden, dresses like a child and seems to have regressed about 10 years; Holly has gone from top of her class in Cambridge to travelling to Thailand to eat plain tofu, run excessively and collaborate with porn sites; similarly to Jade, Jack is also still caught up on Oxford and has tried to cling onto his YouTube channel.

Then, there's Eve. Achieved a first-class degree from one of the best institutions in the world, while having a healthy social life, a boyfriend, moving out to London and landing a job with Sky. She actually utilised the grades and the advice she put out into practice and made something of her life. Sure, it would have been easy for her to become a fulltime content creator, churning out stale content, but she opted to pursue a career where I am confident she will be highly successful.

She made it. Of all the Studytubers, she genuinely seems like a lovely person and I really want her to have all the success in the world. If you're reading this Eve, you made all of us who followed the Studytube community growing up proud.

She's just posted her quitting YouTube video (although she says not technically quitting but in essence she's done).

She seems a genuinely lovely girl and well done to her for not becoming one of these stupid pointless professional 'content creators'. She's starting a great career and I think her Youtube has clearly helped her on that journey. Personal growth evidenced and what a refreshing sight that is.

Eve, not sure of you ever read your thread and I know this place can be toxic sometimes but if you are reading then well done to you and good luck, you seem like one of the good ones. ❤

I would be surprised if we're talking more than a very small percentage that leave university having not had sex. Going in to uni I can totally get on board with it and I expect that quite a large percentage are virgins (I didn't lose my virginity until I went to uni for example) when they start uni. However, sex is literally everywhere you look when you're a student. You would have to actively go out of your way to avoid and turn down sex to finish uni still a virgin in my opinion. With the drinking and the casual sex culture I think it would be hard to nigh on impossible to make it through all your years at uni and not have sex.
You're acting like everywhere you go people are forcing themselves on you at uni lol. I'm not from the UK, so it might be different there but I know plenty of people who didn't participate in uni party culture and didn't have sex in uni. It's not a big deal and there are different types of people everywhere. Even if you live in uni halls, you can still just... do your own thing and not constantly get drunk (or have sex).
Also the "She's an attractive girl so I don't think it's a case that she wouldn't have boys interested in her" yeah but maybe she isn't interested in hook-ups? Maybe... just maybe.... women can turn men down "even" if they're interested

Wtf lol it's actually quite mad how different her version of a low-key, bleak year is to how I've spent my year.

like sorry but I'm actually in shock?? I haven't stepped foot back in a pub since March and haven't visited anywhere outside my local area. Yet eves been to Edinburgh, Cornwall, center parcs, Stratford, Cornwall again, Manchester, Edinburgh again, Glasgow, Berlin, Hamburg, Poland and back home again. And we're expected to feel so sorry for her that she's had it a bit rough 🥺💔 Jesus I'd love to see a busy year for her if this is how she gets about during a global pandemic

Okay, some of you need to get a grip, "I’ve always been envious of her shape and it would piss me off how badly she ate because she is blessed with a naturally amazing shaped body but she never was at her full potential" What the actual hell is wrong with you?? How somebody else eats is none of your fucking business and they don't need to accommodate you just bc you're insecure. Whenever Eve eats something that you guys deem unhealthy she is slandered and now that she's working out more and eats more healthy you accuse her of having an ed??? Pick a fucking side. As someone who was the chubby kid in school, lost a ton of weight due to an eating disorder and has been in recovery for almost 4 years, all I can say is shut the hell up. These comments on her eating behaviour are harmful, not just to Eve (although I doubt she's currently reading this thread) but to everyone reading this who might experience body shaming or has an eating disorder. Criticise her I don't care but stop talking about her body this way, it's fucking disgusting.

I'm actually surprised she's in favour of the proposals to get rid of anonymous posting. Surely as a wannabe political journalist she would realise anonymous accounts are a way to keep the government to account and protect the voices of certain groups?

Just wanted to put on here quickly that Eve is glowing at the moment and I’m happy that her mental health is doing better. Yes she does have a rather negative outlook on things but i’m so glad she’s feeling better. Honestly she’s glowing in the seville vlogs

No that it’s our business like but you can definitely get through uni, live a party lifestyle and not have sex. It’s not getting thrusted in your face, just because people approach her doesn’t mean she has to say yes (same for everyone). As someone who lived in student accom, was partying every week and had a pretty active uni social life I never had sex at uni and either did a lot of my friends. From what I gathered both having sex and not having sex were pretty balanced when it came to what was most common, so I fully believe she could still be a virgin.

I don't want to be unsympathetic, but Eve's instagram story about flights from the UK to Spain and Germany being banned is really in poor taste right now, especially after last night's announcement. Millions of people have just been told at incredibly short notice that they won't be able to see their loved ones after being told that they would be able to. Yes, Eve can't go to Spain - it's a shame that she couldn't go through with her plans but I think you'd struggle to find anyone who hasn't been effected and it was naive of her to think that her year abroad would go ahead unhindered in the first place. Most people have not been able to go on their years abroad and she was incredibly lucky to be able to go to Berlin. A friend studying in China last year had to leave only a few months after he'd arrived, right at the beginning of the pandemic, leaving his apartment and most of his posessions behind, not knowing if he'd be able to get them back. I struggle to have empathy with Eve due to how incredibly tone deaf she can be.

I absolutely love how she's acting like this virus is a thing of shocking development and nobody could see these news coming. Everyone has been cancelling their vital plans for a year now! What makes she think she's the exception in every case?

"just gets exhausting when I know how many influencers have actually been blatantly breaking rules all through the last lockdown"
