The Guardian is so full of itself at times, but it made me laugh today. It reported Robinson's suspension by saying that he, Robinson, had declared:

'Standing up for Dan Wootton is standing up for the very idea of GBNews. If he stands, we all fall'.

The next sentence then read:

'Two hours later, Robinson also fell,..'

No idea how true all this is but the fact that the name “Martin Branning” was almost certainly taken from amalgamating the names of two EastEnders characters is hysterical to me.

How can you like someone so horrible? I can’t think of one positive thing about him unless you count his bringing down of Schofield although that was more the Daily Mail that finished him off in the end. There are so many stories about him being unpleasant and he used to relentlessly target certain people in the public eye (Caroline Flack, Alexandra Burke, Caroline Flack, Stacey Dooley, although she would give it him back and then some) I genuinely think he’s a psychopath.

I think he carries around a lot of guilt about what happened to Caroline.He knows he didn't treat her well and it probably weighs on him.

Hopefully, this is the beginning of his downfall. He really is an odious twat and deserves nothing but the worst!

I've always thought DW was a slippery scumbag, partly because of the way he tries to destroy some celebrities/royals and befriend others. There's something really snaky about him so these allegations don't surprise me one little bit.

I don't know how anyone who's been regularly flinging mud on the Huw Edwards thread can be defending DW on this... at the very least his employers and the police should be 'scoping out' the allegations made by his accusers (who both admitted they weren't exactly choir boys but were prepared to put their own stories out there). I bet DW has tons of practice at using inside knowledge to get what he wants (aka blackmail). I hope he gets a taste of his own medicine at last.
