He looks so insincere. And who takes someone with them to film them in their moment of ‘quiet reflection’ so it can be uploaded for all to see?
He does it on his show as well. Every time one of his guests mentions the late queen, Dan will pull this sad pensive face.
---
It all makes me wonder what turned him from an ambitious sort of fellow into a creepy sex pest ... or was he always like that?
I think he was always like that. He's a clear psychopath, you can tell from his lack of remorse, his fake emotions and his terrifying eyes. I think predatory people are worse when they enter middle age and are more socially powerful. In his 30s, he will have felt more able and entitled to get away with things that he could only fantasise about when he was 19.

Dan Wootton #2 SILENCE PLEASE, DAN WOOTTON IS QUIETLY REFLECTING

The police won’t do anything - pretending to be someone else online (catfishing, basically) is somehow still not actually a crime yet, so unless there’s proof of it crossing over into revenge porn territory it’s not a criminal matter.

I do know however, that a leading investigative journalist is putting together a big piece on him, might not be published in the coming days or weeks, but there’s meticulous work being done including interviews with ‘victims’ - this isn’t going away even if DW thinks it might

I'm not sure how soliciting dick pics can be woven into an anti-woke narrative. But if anyone can do it, Dan can.
They need a superstar panel to discuss it.
Kim Woodburn, Jim from corrie, Jim the racist comedian, presented by the haunted Victorian pencil JRM.

Rent boy? 🤦‍♀️ And this is exactly why people don’t come forward because they’ll be smeared like this. The state of the media/press in this country is beyond belief. And for those questioning why people have not gone to the police they often do but get told there is not enough evidence. With reporting/headlines like this why would they?

Also, let’s now forget that back on 2015 Wootton threatened to publicly out someone about their HIV+ status.

Blimey is it a prequisite to be odious if you work in showbiz or the media? I'm beginning to wonder. So many bad 'uns about.
In short no. But it doesn't harm your career prospects if you have a borderline personality disorder. Some kind of psychopathy; a profound lack of empathy, deficient emotional responses, something along those lines. Having those traits is a great advantage. Think of Dan as you would think of a Dalek.

A few years ago if you were to visit Dan's Twitter feed you'd see it adorned with rainbow flags, messages full of support for trans-rights issues, etc. etc. Then he realised it would be better for his career if he lurched to the Right and waged 'a war on woke'. He has no values and I'm not entirely sure if Dalek Dan even has a soul.

For the people who doubt the seriousness of it all, just imagine being on the end of something like this. Imagine someone you don't know targeting you or your partner or your previous partners, offering them thousands of pounds top make sex tapes of you. Then blackmailing them/you and ultimately releasing sex tapes to friends and family members. Imagine how that would feel over a period of years. It would be life changing, life destroying. Somebody earlier described it as evil and I'm not in disagreement with that.

Could you do something like that? I think it takes a severely twisted, sadistic person to inflict that on anybody. If any of this is true it's incredibly inhumane.

I actually cannot believe he has the cheek to crowdfund for a lawyer. What kind of next level crazy is he?! Should have seen it in those eyes 👀

OK so I've just watched the segment where Dan addresses the situation. He did seem emotional. Mind you anyone would be, under threat of investigation, and the scrutiny, etc.

I was torn between thinking he's still an awful person, but also thinking that despite the messenger, he did in fact have a point about social media, and people wanting to destroy GB News or whatever other organisation / channel they don't like, depending on their beliefs. It goes back to what I said the other night - do people (of both sides) want those from "the other side" investigated / cancelled because they are genuinely horrified by the allegations, or in some cases, is it a case of "Yesss! I can't stand that person so I hope they are guilty of awful things and I don't care how or why they are cancelled....I just want them gone". Please understand I was never under illusions that Dan was a wonderful fellow and I feel there is some truth to these allegations somewhere (time will tell hopefully the extent of wrongdoing) but my point still stands about bias, whether it comes from the left or the right.
I think it's more that Wooton has made a career from going after certain targets, whipping up hate campaigns against certain individuals. There's great schadenfreude in seeing him bitten by the same vitriol he's got rich on.

Not an exclusive when he admitted it himself in his tweet.

Using the term "rent boy" in 2023 is beyond weird anyway.

Sorry but I just have to step in about Byline Times being called grifters. Fair if you disagree with how they've gone about covering this and the crowdfund but they broke the story about the government wasting money on covid contracts and have covered other important news.

However, it's this salacious story about a B list celebrity that's getting them attention so if they're using it to inject some cash so they can continue reporting on corporate and political corruption... I can't be too mad.
