Hi everyone. Ive been on here a while but not commented. Basically because I was so disappointed and upset about how I was treated on the freaks group. I was one of the very first members of the freaks group - literally one of the first 30. And it used to be great. I was the person who first suggested all the freaks meet and get together, which Caroline said she’d come to. Then quite suddenly it became terrible. The guidelines basically told you what you could and couldn’t say. And you couldn’t criticise Caroline, or any products she loved without a horrible vicious tirade of abuse. There was much talk of the ‘Queen’, ‘Lady H’ etc which was funny at first, then became really weird. I got my daughter onto Caroline’s advice which was great initially. We both met her in 2019 and she was absolutely lovely, and from time to time she and i chatted privately on instagram. Then I began to notice the Freaks had actually lost it, and Caroline’s ‘lives’ were increasingly aggressive and confrontational, especially during first lockdown. The ‘Caroline’ online to the freaks was so different to the one offline. Then one Sunday evening I spotted the ridiculous pile on to Charlotte Tilbury and her penchant for wearing makeup in bed. My first comment on the thread - that they should leave her alone and stop getting their knickers in a twist about her - was immediately deleted (mainly because I started by saying the whole thread was nonsense and people should do their own thing). Dominic Masters was horribly vicious and rude to me, then compounded by a load of freaks shouting I was a ‘d**k’ (even tho many agreed with me). It was relentless. The whole thing was so upsetting, I left the group immediately. Now I’m watching her lives tonight and cringing about how she’s changed and become hideously arrogant. It still really shocks me how that group behaves. It’s not healthy. Anyway...I’m probs going to unfollow her soon. If I hear her banging on about her mates Kate, Josh, Jordan and Marko any more I’ll seriously ducking puke. Glad to see there’s support on here.

I have never used this site and don't know how to message people (can you even do that here?) but I work for CH and I am so happy people see through her BS. I will be leaving my job soon but reading through these threads have been very entertaining in the meantime.

FFS, discussing endometriosis or liking a tweet about an article discussing endometriosis does not make you transphobic. I can’t stand the way some parts of the trans debate have become about policing women and their experiences. We’re basically being told to sit down and shut up - often by men. It’s just repackaged misogyny.
Notice how we never see the same discussions about trans men, men and their bodies. It just boils my p*ss.

Her 'inclusion' of people with disabilities as the only reason for someone WFH is based on her own bigotry, assuming 'disability' means a poor soul in a wheelchair, unable to even push themselves into the next room. Which is just patronising all round.

The one big reason to allow WFH for roles where it is appropriate is because remote working is the single greatest invention for those with caring responsibilities ie women. For a woman who likes to trill about supporting women, by banning WFH for her entire team she's effectively cutting out recruiting any women with young children or aging parents - employees who might need time off to take someone else for medical appointments, who might need to start at 9.15 after the school run or slip off between 3 and 4pm, but who are likely to be more loyal and dedicated to an employer who enables them to balance their lives.

But she doesn't want that - she wants cheap young people with no other demands on their time, so she can make them work as late as she wants and screech at them to bring her tea every five minutes. And while we're on that topic, who the fuck is expected nowadays to bring their boss cups of tea? It's demeaning, no one does this anymore.

At heart she's really just a 1970s middle aged chauvinist man in a bad wig.

Hi all. I'm a member of the Freaks group and will probably stay as there are several others I enjoy chatting with. I've become increasingly disenchanted with Mrs Hirons over the last couple of years. Used to love the Empties posts, product reviews etc but now she's only about selling. I HATE the way she dissed Trinny (who I love - mad as a box of frogs, minted but no pretence otherwise). I did buy a couple of Kits but will never buy another. The weird hero-worship ("Queen" "Our lady Hirons") of someone whose main concern is to part them from their money seriously makes me feel ill. So - have ordered Trinny's cleansers and you can be sure I'll be posting reviews on the Freaks group asap. Thanks for having me x

Wow, so many new episodes of Things That Never Actually Happened To The Freaks today I can barely keep up. How many more seasons can we endure? The 'guys, my train was in a train crash and I've lost my kit ' must at least win a nomination for the Freak Academy Award for the worst yet.

Anyway, I'm going to post on the Freaks group in a minute because you guys, I was reading The Bible by the fire (have to light a fire as I cannot afford central heating - NHS worker here). It got dark and because I try not to use electricity (saving money for kits etc), I moved closer to the fire to keep reading. I was so absorbed I didn't realise before it was too late and The Bible set alight and my entire house burnt to the ground. Thankfully me and my cat are safe - but I lost all 5 of the kits I had purchased this week. I can't believe it, I am distraught. I can't stop crying and I think the tears have damaged my acid barrier and I can't get rid of the redness without a kit. Do you think the next cameo bag will be fire proof?

But you are telling someone how they should spend their money. The point made about the kit shit show is that people who budgeted for £190 to go out of their account were having far in excess taken and in one case £1600. Whatever your circumstances this should not happen. In the example you gave the person had nearly £400 extra taken which had affected her ability to pay rent which is not beyond the realms of a lot of peoples finances. Whether you could afford the extra money being taken out or not is irrelevant....it should not have happened. Caroline is the one at fault here on two accounts. 1 being the shit structure of the website and the other being her creating the rabid frenzy for the bloody kits in the first place.
