"Olive" skin, "curly" hair, building up her brows: she wants to be a sultry Mediterranean siren apparently. She should realise there's nothing wrong being an English Rose.

Years ago she had a style that suited her: casual brights, cute tops, her natural brows, pinky rosy cool toned makeup, etc. OG Whistles Anna was much more her lane.

Ffs. She’s not messing around when she says ‘An edited life.’

Sure has! I had a feeling it wouldn't stay there for long. The giggling is so annoying lately. I watched her vlog today (first time in YONKS!) and it's definitely getting worse. Like that person said, she is giggling at the end of every sentence now - no matter what she's talking about. It's a very annoying habit.

It is definitely not a summer dress. And I cannot fathom how putting on tights and a dress in winter and – shock horror – putting on a COAT over it is called *styling* and content worthy of sharing on the internet? Looks like I’ve been a fashion influencer all these years with my groundbreaking method of wearing a dress, tights, a coat and even shoes outside!

Starting to think her typos aren’t a product of laziness, but actually because she legit can’t spell / has awful grammar.

I’m a stickler for grammar and I get that some people struggle with it for various reasons but for a grown woman like Anna with no learning difficulties (that she’s ever mentioned), I just don’t think there’s any excuse.

Sorry, the ‘they’ll’ in this post from just now has me really triggered. I would DM her but she’s never once opened one I’ve sent 🥲
Surely in her line of work, you double or triple check before posting!? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Most people have ugly knees  they're literally some of the least appealing body parts. And even if she has bruises, what is she supposed to do, put makeup on her legs? It's one thing criticising influencers when they beg for freebies and do sponsored content that doesn't make sense for their brand, but let's not pick on someone having human legs...

The ironic thing about Anna is that before she adopted 'capsule wardrobe' as her schtick (and her wardrobe promptly quadrupled in size), she was actually doing the capsule wardrobe thing really well organically. She had a solid wardrobe of mid-priced basics that she wore over and over (she even used to joke about it in her vids) and she always looked great. It wasn't groundbreaking fashun (no criticism - how many of us can pull that off anyway), but you could tell she was wearing what she felt good in and she always looked cute, stylish and appropriate for the occasion. What she's doing now is totally contrived. She really needs to stop thinking so much about clothes.

As a frequent wearer of Converse, and have done for years. Why is she talking about them as if they’re a whole new concept in the world of footwear? I don’t get it.
Right? It was so strange watching Anna copy other influencers, and watching Lily copy Ana, getting converse and being excited as if it was a whole new type of shoe never seen before.
Calm your tits, they're jus converse ffs.

I don't know how to explain it, but she looks like a cricket here

The proportions are way off, everything looks as if it's been shrunk in the wash.

Happy performative activism..uuh..earth day!
The perfect day for influencers to pretend like they give a shit about the environment as if they don't buy more fast fashion every single week only to never wear them again. Does she think her followers forgot all the new clothes, shoes and other junks she shills on IG literally every day???

I feel sorry for anyone taking what to wear in an office advice from someone that hasn't stepped foot in an office for 10 years and was trying desperately to justify her pre influencer office life experience.

Japanese rice vinegar with fried rice, the Asian in me just died. Just because the vinegar is made from rice it doesn’t mean it is for rice. Jesus Lily, teach your bland friend how to eat.

This may be (is) pure jealousy but I just remembered we have been the same conversation about the amount of work these two seem to produce since they've been staying at the airbnb of mum and dad. That's about 6 months now right ?
So does it means an influencer can do the bare minimum, almost disappear from the internet for a few weeks but still afford the lifestyle and million pound houses with no issue ?? The nerve they have to say they need to "save for a few months" before they do projects...
I need to forget about most of these people really, it's clearly nowhere near as entertaining as it use to be. They live in a cushion bubble and I find the culture gap more and more apparent.

I have a problem with the word “invesment” when buying clothes in general. A house is an investment. A fashion item barely is, unless maybe certain Chanel bags or Hermes.

But generally, they’re just purchases, and some last longer than others. Calling it an “investment” is just a way to make sound nicer, an excuse for buying it.

I never like to talk about people's weight but in Anna's case it's her style choices that do her disservice. She's possibly the same/similar weight to her in 2017/18 but it doesn't look like it because of her frumpy oversized clothing. We cannot see her body silhouette at all these days, it's all hiden under baggy clothes with her big moon head sticking out.
If someone speculated about my pregnancy due to an unflattering piece of clothing, I would be mortified and get rid of that piece immediately. Anna just giggles about it and carry on wearing frumpy clothes.

I really need to check myself every time I watch her videos these days, telling myself she's not pregnant neither she's gained weight, it's just her clothes!
I mean, I know Anna is an ~influencer~ and trying to sell people on clothes, but it’s not tragic and the end of the world to not dress in clothes that show her “body silhouette” for others? I’m probably biased because I dress somewhat similarly to Anna and in general don’t mind her but I also am not stick thin or “the body type that can pull off” wearing baggier clothes as is often talked about here but to an extent, who cares? I think a lot of it is down to personal taste and style but I find it odd how often on here people say Anna needs to change x/y/z about her appearance or style to please others. Sure if she’s totally just following trends and trying to mimic other influencers style and it’s not what she truly likes wearing then it’s a bit sad, but I don’t really think there’s anything wrong with just dressing for yourself. Even if it’s not the most figure hugging, flattering, people pleasing outfit. If someone mistook me for being pregnant because of what I was wearing.... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ so? To each their own but of all the things Anna does (budgeting tips 🥴, excessive Mark, obscene spending habits, repetitive content, etc) her just dressing like a normal person with a normal healthy body is one of the things I do like about her. Sure it’s not the most ~stylish~ and she’s often trying to pull of the cool girl unbothered look, but I’d rather see her just wearing her normal comfy jeans and a baggy sweater round the house

I feel sort of the same way about her eyebrows, jaw, talking out of the side of her mouth, lisp etc- who really cares? People plucked their eyebrows to high heaven in the early 2000s and then moved on, it’s just a trend and if Anna likes the way her face looks right now I really couldn’t care less. Maybe in a few years she’ll look back and shudder but (also I’m probably biased as a born dark and bushy brow girl) it’s just really not that big of a deal to me- I get much more frustrated and want to bang my head against the wall when she comes out with yet another wardrobe capsule/seasonal haul/organisation video or waitrose and partners cooking bit

Well if she's not pregnant I've gotta say she's not too concerned about looking great all the time. I guess that's a refreshing attitude when the majority of influencers are always so picture perfect. To be honest if I saw footage of myself looking like she did in that kitchen clip in her beige jumper, I wouldn't post it, even if it's just a bad camera angle.
Ok, I’m just going to say it. If she’s a not pregnant and the obvious weight gain is stress/pandemonium related, maybe she just doesn’t have the motivation to work out. It’s the same for me when I gain weight and my depression just kind of takes over. Finding the motivation to move my body is really, really hard, even harder when people comment on the weight gain or talk about their workouts/weight loss.

If she isn’t lying she’s repeating herself. She’s lied about the last 3 major life changes that are related to and affect her work - Mark being employed by her, buying a house, and getting pregnant. I understand wanting to keep those things private, but lying in the interim is just gross. Perhaps don’t mention it or don’t directly lie about it until you are ready to tell? Or here’s a thought: truly be an organization guru and plan your content in advance much, much better so that there’s no need to lie.

Lying also undermines her credibility as an “influencer” because she doesn’t seem very genuine to me anymore. She seems harmless but she’s just as nefarious with the covert consumerism as every other influencer, and she doesn’t respect her audience’s intelligence.
THIS!

When she mentioned "all the lovely messages" she's receiving, I couldn't help but remember when she (or Mark?) deleted all the comments under her NAP video saying she was pregnant.

Also her saying that she's trying to rest and give herself a break... yeah, like you've done since you've been pregnant?

I swear I lost all the respect I had for her.

I’m glad they’re happy together, it’s very sweet blah blah but literally no one asked for a Mark moment, a Mark situation or a shedload of Mark.

I unsubscribed from Anna a few months back - she used to be a bit of a comfort watch but I just find her ‘content’ unwatchable now.
