I think that she had a pretty long and hard labor and not an easy birth at all. But she's choosing to talk about it in a very positive way and I like that. If I had to choose between Lilly and Anna's way of seing things, it's Anna all the way!

She’s trying to appear relatable - ohmigod, it’s so busy for new mums, amirite? - and it’s so blatantly untrue that it just comes across as patronising at best and at worst, actually quite unkind to all of the people who are managing a new baby without any of Anna’s luxuries.

Long time lurker..and had a bad day, so I apoligize in advance! I am just sick and tired of them all lying all the time...
They ( people like Anna and Lily) are part of the lucky people who are not ( do not seem to be ) affected financially by the pandemics and can afford to not work..After working for 10 years in corporate London, in very toxic, stressful, overworked, underpaid roles I am fortunate and grateful that I dont have to work as much as I used to and believe me I never take it for granted; but guess what? I am transparent about it with my closest friends...Some days, it is boring and depressing to not be doing much and staying isolated but some days I just chill home on my own.
I find it rude to say the least that they pretend to be BUSY and overwhelmed when clearly thats not the case. Why cant they just say, Hi guys I havent got much work to do these days and just taking it one day at the time ? or whatever reason behind this non-sense? Just a bit of transparency to not alienate the people...
The house renovation could have been great content but for some reason she seems to be "hiding" the house. No need to hide most people do know influencers make good money to buy big houses that ordinary people would never be in a position to purchase. I am annoyed that they pretend to be like us...
The clothes she keeps on buying? well they are expensive but VERY expensive. When she says dupe; I am slightly offended even if I could afford some of these but I choose NOT to spend that much on clothes - each to his own-
When she used to shop from Whistles, her style was great and the clothes were relatable ( still expensive, but Whistles is affordable during the sales)
I understand that influencers do not wish to share the bad bits or the private bits of their lives but talking about expensive clothes in such circustamces is bad taste and rude. On the top of it, when watching her videos I do not learn anything at all. Coming from a very modest and complicated background I did learn a lot from youtube ie cooking, self awareness, organization, budgeting.. I am just no longer learning anything from her and despite having had my fair share of life experiences at this stage I still wish I could learn a thing or two when I watch a youtube video...

Do we know the particulars of Mark's background? Does he have siblings, if so where does he rank in birth order? I really need to understand what made this man.

My hypothesis is that he is the youngest of three brothers. The older 2 are very close, quite outgoing and doing well in their careers. They play rugby together at the weekends. There's quite a large age gap between him and the others, so they were never close and mostly ignored mark. His first dalliance was with a girl who always saw him as a friend (loved to vent about her shitty bf, always wondering why more boys couldnt be caring like mark). She used him as a rebound when her bf cheated on her. They slept together once and but she ghosted him afterwards for 2 weeks. When she re emerged, she said she's not in the right headspace and needs to stay single for the summer. Days later she posts a pic of her and her former ex bf at Glastonbury loved up having giving love another go after watching an MGMT set reminiscing about 6th form. Anna is the perfect life partner because she looked up to him and admired him, something which he never experienced home. She makes him feel seen when every other woman sees him as just a friend, whilst the men in his life pity him for being a house husband who cannot even manage his house (see leaky roofs, mould, mice etc). She's provided him with a son and heir who will always look up to his dad and see him as a hero. She's the Plain Jane Seymour to his Henry VIII.

Last year, Anna and Mark had movie night in and watched don't worry darling whilst drinking mothball espresso martinis. That night he laid in bed wondering if the Victory Project ever be a reality in his lifetime so he could finally seen as worthy to the rest of the world.

I don't think she's faking joy! Her house is stunning and I think she's aware that she's very lucky to be able to purchase something like that in her early 30s. I'm typing this from a small rented London flat so if I were her I'd be over the moon and taking polaroids of myself holding the door knobs tbh.

Mark definitely looked better few years back. Both he and Anna have gone off the boil big time in the last year or two. I'm not sure what happened with him, but I think it's a combination of aging (rapidly, especially around the eyes), weight loss (his face seems thinner now) and very bad haircuts!

Also, he often has an (intense/creepy) look in his eyes now that I never noticed in the past. I may be imagining this.

Anna’s form seems to be that if she’s talking about something being a long way in the future then it’s a pretty safe bet that it’s already happening. Talking about wanting a garden = pretty far through the process of buying a house with a big ol’ garden, talking about a baby ‘one day’ = 20 weeks pregnant lol.
