Plus, if that were my fence, I’d be a bit annoyed that someone was turning up once a week to spend half an hour or so posing outside of my house and taking pictures. It’s just so weird. You can just imagine the owners peering through the shutters thinking ‘Christ, they’re back again - what on earth are they doing?’ I must admit that if it was my house, I’d be very tempted to turn the hose on them …

It is so sad that Mark had a professional degree and was unhappy in his job and still got paid less than Anna who does fuckall and 1. Does not know makeup, 2.dresses like a drab, 3. doesn't know anything and he has to work for her... I mean this influencer era is so horrible.

Be fair, that dress is an incredibly versatile investment piece. It’s also appropriate for cult members, novice nuns, Anglo-Saxon cosplay, LARPing as a druid and a Halloween ghost costume.

The Anna Edit: A Moment Like This Moment Moment.

I have to admit I’m having ‘a bit of a moment with Anna’, she seems genuinely so happy and gratful about her house and I can relate to the joy of being able to hang out your washing, and having a utility room etc when you’ve been living in a flat. She’s not coming across as smug or showing off, and she seems to be approaching the house in the right way, living in it, not buying lots of new furniture straight away and doing it up slowly. Hopefully she’ll end up with a far more homely and cohesive home then the likes of Lily pebbles and inthefrow

I say this as a happily married woman, I cannot STAND seeing smug couples on social media constantly shoving their relationships down people's throats. I had to mute an IRL friend on Instagram recently because all she does is share photos of her boyfriend, tags him in every story, and reshares everything he posts. Her personality has vanished.

It makes me feel so sad when you see women change their whole personalities and identities to revolve around a man. Anna drives me mad, I've been unsubscribed for months, but you can't deny she's built a successful online business(?). To have Mark swoop in and profit off Anna's graft (I do think she worked hard back in the day) doesn't sit well with me at all.

I saw someone ask in her book club whether there was a book for March - not only is there not one, she doesn’t seem to have posted her discussion from her February book.

It’s kind of funny that Anna has built her brand on organisation, but as soon as life gets a little bit stressful she just reduces the amount of work she does. So relatable.

I’m clearly not experienced in this You Tuber gaff, but what I’ve seen today is Anna Newton effectively ‘cleaning up’ the comments on her most recent video to make it look brand new, spotless and universally loved. Nothing left to hint that she had confused and perturbed her subscribers by re-churning out old content, rather than opting to explain why she’d screwed up by publishing it too early? Is this what we’re meant to be paying her for? Dishonest streamlining of comments to filter out the difficult issues. Bloody hell why are we even watching this?? Between that and the lack of comment from her on the (lack of) safety of women. I fucking despair...I really do

Anna desperately needs a coworker, a tutor or just a slap on her face. I don’t think she realises how unprofessional her content has become. She never seemed to overshare her personal life and had a relatively solid work ethic compared to most other influencers. Nowadays her posts have become an endless stream of embarrassingly personal moments and she seems to think intentionally deceiving her audience is the same as keeping things private. She would really benefit from working with someone else other than her husband and getting some distance from him every now and then. She’s like a brainwashed infatuated teenager that’s forgotten how to function on her own for five minutes.

And just to add, I hate how she keeps turning away from the camera to tell Mark what it is she’s talking about, hence repeating the same thing twice. That so badly needs to be edited.

Ugh. I can’t.
