Used to love How clean is your house, You are what you eat, It's me or the dog, Supernanny, How to look good naked, 10 years younger, Wife Swap. Channel 4 was the channel to watch in the evenings in 00s. Big Brother and Shameless too.

Sugar magazine :)

I have Furby pyjamas and a 12 year old asked what they were 😂

Also don’t want to derail into good old days sanctimonious dullness, but I am so glad mobile phones weren’t a thing, or even social media until I was like 16. Imagine sitting in class and everyone on their phones or playing Tik toks :)

I was 12 in 2000. I remember everyone in my school wearing these around 2003/2004.

Spent way too much time on MSN changing my sign-in name to song lyrics to get the attention of my on/off teenage boyfriend. Absolute cringe.

Does anyone remember polyphonic ringtones where you bought a set of numbers to key in to make the sound? They were always in the back of teen mags :)
I’ve got a feeling- black eyed peas. Tik tok- kesha
Bacardi breezers
How old are my fellow 00ers? I’m 32 so started secondary school in 2001 and uni in 2008 :)

I get so nostalgic listening to these 🥰 -
Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson - Valerie
Lily Allen - Smile
Razorlight - In the morning
Hi Tack - Say Say Say
Rihanna - Umbrella

Wearing thick black eyeliner with thin eyebrows, pale lipstick or gloss, side fringe, skinny jeans with ballet pumps or in winter tucked in knee high boots or uggs, tiny handbags. I must have looked a state!! 😂

Having a Pink Motorola Razr phone mid 00s or Nokia 3210 early 00s

Loss of MSN messenger has left a gaping hole in society and I'm ready to die on this hill. I hate every single chat/text app I've used since then and I still miss MSN.

I miss the MTV of 00s as well.

And it cost like 50p to send a ‘multimedia’ message with an image 😂 I used to get so annoyed when I had to waste a text/credit on say telling my dad when I was coming home and he used to remind me that he paid for the phone and that was what it was for
I was so cheeky I'd 0800 REVERSE and be like "pickmeupfromtown" in the bit where you'd say your name 😂

My whole bedroom was Groovy Chick 😂
I loved Groovy Chick so much 😂 I also liked whatever these things were.

I was 15 in 2000. Absolutely loved that time of my life, early 2000’s. I feel we had the best of technology and how it hadn’t quite taken over like it has now but was handy at the same time, like msn and sending a 10p text unless you’d got an o2 sim with 300 free messages. We still had a level of innocence that teens and kids don’t seem to have now.

Can you imagine explaining to a young person today that you had to buy phone wallapapers from the back of magazines?

Also you couldn’t use the phone and internet at the same time :)
I remember an IT lesson in 2001 when we were taught how to look something up on Google 😆 some of us had never been on Google.com before- fair enough we were 11/12 with no devices
Remember Ask Jeeves the search engine? :ROFLMAO: That's what we were shown in IT lessons using internet for the first time. Had to type the whole question out like "Can you tell me what/how/where ____ please?" like we were talking to an actual person

Does anyone remember the playboy bunny image being a real thing? It was all over stationery etc and teens liked it as it was a pink bunny and weren’t really aware of its connotations- quite dodgy :(
i wanted a playboy bunny logo tattoo

Can we all take a moment to thank whichever higher power made sure that never happened

Love this thread! To be honest I'm still living my best 00s life, love a bootcut jean and an abercrombie & fitch hoodie, although thankfully I've moved on from trying to look like Avril Lavigne with poker straight hair, vest tops and combat trousers 😂

Anyone remember when ASOS first lauched - it was a website called "As Seen on Screen" where it would list celebrities and have link for where to buy clothes they'd worn, waaaaaay before the concept of brand deals and affiliate links were a thing!

I remember I got £10 credit a month for my Nokia 3310 and texts were 10p. And you could only store 5 texts at a time! The struggle was real. My phone case looked a bit like this too.
