I got my sofas cleaned professionally once and it really damaged the fabric and got the carpet in my living room and hallway done 2 years ago after a couple of spills. I had to save to have both of those down…it wasn’t just funds ready to be spent. I watch all these Instagram people and it just drums in how much disposable income I don’t haveNot me! I’m pretty sure it’s not good for your carpets and sofa to be cleaned professionally that regularly. It’s like when she spills something she hasn’t even attempted to get the stain out, she just leaves it and gets it professionally cleaned. Grubby
I just think they don’t take care of their stuff/home. It’s all replaceable/cleanable to them so they don’t even bother. We have cream carpets and hire a carpet cleaner (self operated) every other year just to give them a spruce up. Have never had the sofa cleaned. I just wash the cushion covers in the washing machine
