This is what I meant, periods beginning irregular in your 40's.
I’m 46 and still get my period every month like clockwork. Sometimes I’m shocked to realise I’m so close to menopause because I’ve had no symptoms or changes yet.
I’m 48 and peri menopausal and it doesn’t half trigge some mood swings! I’d imagine it certainly doesn’t help someone binpolar who’s un medicated and taking drugs, booze and god knows what else!

I've seen some posts about her medical insurance and healthcare, I'm in the UK and I understand that the USA is very different and healthcare is very expensive, but surely this comes down to BS's mental capacity?
If she's not nuts enough to be sectioned then it is her decision to engage with any MH support, surely she could afford whatever support she wants?

Yes! Peri menopause n itself can feel like a mental illness to some women as symptoms are so strong. When you throw in mental illness and substance abuse, alcohol abuse and a whole unhealthy lifestyle........
There's every chance she's not feeling the changes yet but obviously, she's never going to recover from what ails her going into those changes.
I think it’s a combination of everything.

Mental health issues
Unstable lifestyle
Lack of genuine impartial support network
Boredom and loneliness
If I was BS’s pal I would advise some voluntary work, start a dance school for disadvantaged kids, start a charity foundation.
Definitely therapy and building bridges with her kids and family would help.
For now it’s an aimless life with drama and enabling. No twirly vids for a while tho besides the backlog catalogue she may have.

I really don’t think she will ever access any support. All of this is just my opinion based on her social media posts so it could all be wrong but I don’t think she would access ‘proper’ support because she doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with her/she’s done anything wrong. She wouldn’t access therapy partly because she doesn’t believe there’s much wrong with her except what’s been done to her and she won’t get therapy for that aspect because she believes her family could pay the therapist to tell them what she’s said/the therapist would tell them/the therapist would betray her in some way.
I'm well past peri and not even 40 so no regular period since mid lockdown. (Apparently the jag brought it on buy it is what it is - most likely just biology.) Each woman is just different. I will say being peri and not knowing my behaviour and mental health was absolutely bananas. Very erratic behaviour. Even now, it's a struggle.

ah honestly I don't think that's fair to pin this on people who truly believed that the cship was abusive...it absolutely was. If her father or any other of her family memebers had nothing to do with it it would have worked much better. Everything wad taken away from her. All the money she made dure in those almost 14 years where is it? Her mental health issues will be far superior than in 06/07. Everyone again is just waiting for her down fall. She's got nobody who truly loves her and cares for her on her side. She obviously needs help and yes perhaps something like a cship. I can see difficult sights ahead

I have some direct experience of this in that a relative with extremely severe mental health problems who nonetheless can sound pretty lucid and eloquent at times is utterly convinced his family are the work of the devil and this is so far removed from the truth it's unbelievable. But it's the paranoia speaking.
Idk I do think her parents are part responsible tbh she always bad childhood trauma. She's been through an awful lot. Without the right people who actually love her and care deeply about her, the right specialists and meds Britney is fucked...
