How can she seriously talk about revenge porn when she never has any clothes on? And wasn’t she 21 when she went on tit Island? If so, at what age did she start sending naked photos to males? Maybe I’m old fashioned but I was too busy studying and saving up to buy a flat when I was a young un!Haha I just checked and thought exactly the same thingbest part is the article her PR put in the DM today about her "documentary" hasn't worked . Ah no. Zara (and every other woman and man) doesn’t deserve to have private photos/videos leaked regardless of how she dresses. How can she seriously talk about revenge porn when she never has any clothes on? And wasn’t she 21 when she went on tit Island? If so, at what age did she start sending naked photos to males? Maybe I’m old fashioned but I was too busy studying and saving up to buy a flat when I was a young un!
choosing to take photos of yourself with little to no clothing and having private/personal/intimate pictures that you shared with a partner shared with everyone are two very different things and one involves CONSENT...the other does not? I don't see how your making a connection and if you are I think that's dangerous, do you think girls who wear little/no clothes should be raped also? How can she seriously talk about revenge porn when she never has any clothes on? sending naked photos has nothing to do with lack of self respect?? when its done in a safe and respectful relationship it can be fun, affectionate, nice?? also in the majority of the cases its not random males- these are the woman's partners? In most recent case in the UK it was the womans HUSBAND?! again in my case and my friends cases - they were our boyfriends who we had been with for a decent amount of time??Well I suggest girls stop sending naked photos of themselves to random males and have some self respect. The end.
I wouldn’t say I’m any less of a good person just because I have previously sent nudes to my boyfriend at the time (who is now my ex) and it wouldn’t be acceptable for him to post them anywhere just because we broke upWell I suggest girls stop sending naked photos of themselves to random males and have some self respect. The end.
Wow. Your response says more about you than about girls like Zara who share private moments with other adults. I’m not a huge Zara fan but I will watch her documentary because there are too many people who blame the victim in these situations.Well I suggest girls stop sending naked photos of themselves to random males and have some self respect. The end.
Victim shamingWell I suggest girls stop sending naked photos of themselves to random males and have some self respect. The end.
Don’t get me wrong, I think she’s a twit but that person was implying she didn’t have self respect because she sent nudes to somebody and it was her own fault which I 100% disagree withI don’t think people don’t have sympathy for victims of revenge porn, I think people people probably think everything zara does has been manipulated to suit an angle she’s trying to play. The head to toe covered up In black to advertise it is ridiculously stupid in my opinion.... she NEVER dresses like that and surely she should be vocalising that wearing skimpy clothing etc does not make you less of a victim?
I do think that this will have a knock on effect with the influencers from reality TV . Don't get me wrong I love me some Love Island but this has just been too much. Especially the no marks from Winter Love Island who are now in Dubai for the third time .If they are in the Maldives they should be made to come back home and follow the rules like the rest of us! Especially since it’s been announced today so many more people are going into tier 4 yet these two and other influencers are having their 5th non essential holiday of the year. How are they not ashamed of themselves breaking the law when people are dying and losing their jobs. Influencers need to be cancelled EUGH
So because Zara is an influencer she isn’t allowed to talk about her own revenge porn? If anything it’s probably more beneficial to see someone more high profile talk about it as it shows that anyone can experience it. I’m not a fan of Zara but it’s gross to invalidate her experience just because you don’t like her.Revenge porn is a real form of abuse and assault, there is absolutely no correlation between having self respect and sending nudes, what clothes you wear or anything similar. However this documentary is rubbing me the wrong way by having Zara affiliated with it. I'm sorry but, imo, it's insulting and potentially damaging to other victims of revenge porn to have her doing this documentary because everything she does is so disingenuous and performative. It comes across way more as an act or just something she can gain positive publicity from doing rather than something she genuinely cares about and wants to seriously advocate for. The stripping down of her instagram photos, the ridiculous head to toe black outfit, the performative activist instagram stories, that she's never posted anything similar to, prior to this documentary... it's all like she's getting into character or something. As fake as her new tits and her totaaaally unedited 1" instagram waistline.
Revenge porn already isn't taken seriously enough and I feel she's only going to worsen that tbh.
You're entitled to your opinion but that is not what I said.So because Zara is an influencer she isn’t allowed to talk about her own revenge porn?
