With Shauna possibly going into labour on Fridays ep, I just realised they're like, what, still 10 months from being saved?? I'm going to need more of the crash time please and less of whatevers going on with the main bunch, how'd it take so long to learn they took their "trauma" with them... 🤦🏼‍♀️

Wait... I thought the baby she's pregnant with, is the daughter she has now. Is that not the case? Also, what is going on with Taissa's dreams - do you think its the weird demon thing that her gran saw before she died and its attached itself to Taissa? Do you really think the little boy is dead? there's no way he's survived on his own with no food, or proper clothing etc, unless there's someone out there that's taken him in.

I am loving yellowjackets btw, I binged the first season in about 2-3 days and I watched 4 episodes last night.
The timeline doesn’t add up for it to be Callie.

I think Lottie is the Antler Queen because the others will take heed of her "visions" and this will elevate her status in the group.
that is a good call.

I watched ep 8 today, it was indeed insane. Also: Jackie is such a piece of work.

I see it’s been renewed for season 2 - mixed feelings about this, I hope it’s handled well and there’s still a satisfying end to this season.

So, in my rewatching, my latest theory is that there might be 2 groups in the wilderness and the group we see in the beginning is hunting the other group (which Jackie was a part of). So there could be other survivors we haven’t seen yet…and if there are to be the rumoured 5 seasons, then there is lots of time for the whole story to be told. If there are 2 factions, who is in each group?
Sort of back this since all of the write ups reference them forming clans, which suggests multiple.

I think the 'it' is their shared trauma, and I think deep down most of them know that (what was it they said about it, something about 'it' just being all of them together?). Van believes in Lottie, still, but that's less about supernatural powers or w/e than it is about Lottie's cult leader charisma imo.

So when Taissa gets possessed, is that ‘it’ (ie something linked to the trauma/supernatural) or just something that would have happened to her anyway, do you think? I think they’ve gone to great pains to show that whatever the reasons for it, it’s a real thing rather than imagined, with the change in her eyes and all that.

‘Cabin guy’ is a great point, that’s just made me think that could be where one of the seasons go. They were in the wilderness for 19 months weren’t they? I wonder how much of that’s taken place in season 1/2 already. You’d assume at least six months given Shauna went from not looking pregnant to giving birth, vans super-healing scars, and the shift to winter.

I assumed the time line in the wilderness was about 10/11 months - Shauna assuming to be about a month preggo then giving birth, but who knows.

Definitely didn't see Ben's psychotic side come out though. Thought his vivid hallucinations pointed to his near death!
