I kinda called what happened to Crystal as soon as I saw that drop.

I think they are going to offer up the baby as a sort of sacrifice to the wilderness for their rescue.

God that would be dark!

Last week when Jeff was talking to Shauna about their daughter and he said he something along the lines of ‘this is our only chance as we only have one child”, he kind of looked at her for a reaction and she didn’t bat an eyelid and agreed. I dunno, there was just something off about it....like he doesn’t know there is another one still out there. Cos surely it would hurt to say they only had one child if another one had died, sort of not acknowledging one that died wouldn’t happen.I dno what I’m on about, but the wording of it and the incision of that sentence was for a reason

Glad I found this thread. I am so invested in this show. I caught up on ep 8 today and am have gone back to rewatch from the start to try and find more clues as to what is going on.


I have so many questions.

Who do we think stole Shauna’s diaries from the safe. Adam? Could he be paid by the journalist woman to get close to Shauna to get her diaries. Or could Jeff or their daughter have taken them? Who is Jeff’s other woman that he’s having an affair with? Is she signigicant.

How many made it out alive? We know Shauna, Natalie, Misty, Taissa and Travis did. In the ‘tribal’ scenes at the beginning, there were at least 7 or 8 people. Were there survivors we haven’t seen yet (Lottie, Travis’s brother, Coach Ben?)

We’re certainly meant to believe that Jackie is dead. The girl in the pit at the beginning was wearing her heart necklace.

Did Misty rig the Teddy bear to catch fire? She smashed up the flight recorder because she doesn’t want them to be rescued so I’m guessing she sabotaged this attempt too.

What happened to Shauna’s baby?

Just watched the first two, as is the way with Sky Atlantic, it looks like 1-5 are on, but it has abruptly stopped and I have to wait until tomorrow for 3 and 4 . Tomorrow is already taken up with a certain AJLT.

I love it though. The Misty character is fab.

Misty as a teenager creeps me the f*ck out, but as an adult she's kinda cute with her glasses and curly hair

Season two felt a bit slow to get off the ground. I suppose once the key things happened (finding out what happened to Jackie, Shauna giving birth), it lost some of the suspense it had built up.

I’d watch a third season but in reality I just want it to be ten episodes of present day Mindy.

Just finished it. So many thoughts!
However disappointed to read that they are planning five seasons. Would love it if it had all been tied up in this one or just one more was promised.
I find with some American shows, they start off really well with lots of mystery and intriguing things that you hope are later explained.. and then it fizzles out and I’m out by the second series.
Don’t see much point in speculating for the next series when if it’s being spun out for five what’s going to happen of note in the next two?

I’m on episode 7 of Yellowjackets, loving it so far but yes agree seems like 5 seasons it might lose its way? I dunno I hope I’m wrong, plus I hate now that it means waiting months/years for next few series!

Can’t tell how I feel finishing season 2...
I won’t spoil anything as I don’t know how to blur!

but 1 question in my mind from season 1… Start of episode 1 wasn’t someone running and fell into a Trap? Wonder if anything will come of that in new episodes/series. Also cabin guy, did they just live in the wild etc and that’s why the cabin was there. Geographically I’ve no idea the location if people do live in the ‘wild’

Pit girl probably won’t be revealed until much later (I’d say Season 4/5 if the show gets that far). We’ve only just seen the start of them hunting each other and based on the cabin being set on fire, it looks like their first winter in the woods is drawing to a close. The survivors aren’t rescued until early 1998, so it most likely takes place during the winter of 1997, meaning they still have a full year of them in the woods to cover. It’ll probably be the “big sacrifice” before they get saved.
