Thanks to @Furmingos for the new thread title. I know that this forum wouldn't be the same without Furmingos.
Are you ready, Dawn? Let's do this!
*sideways thumbs up*
The thread title is the statement of a woman who was having a great time on her birthday week doing exactly what she wanted to do: trapezing all over a WWII aircraft carrier. She was tired and scared, not that her husband bothered to notice or care.
Dawn turned 50! To celebrate, her husband decided to monetize seemingly every mile of the drive to the cheapest cruise he could find: MSC.
Will claimed that he thought about flying out to the cruise port. He also said that he road Big Bear Mountain. Well, actually he said it was the smoothest roller coaster he's seen...er...ever ridden. Will caught in an obvious lie. The BBM video showed Dawn standing in the roller coaster seat but the video cut away before she sat down or Will even got in. During Sunday's livestream, Will does a half-assed job describing the coaster and Dawn is not agreeing or making eye contact. Will said that BBM, a family coaster, was so exciting that he couldn't remember any part of it, except for the big hill which is visible to everyone. The same Will described Universal Orlando's "The Mummy" coaster in detail. What a fat liar. Heavy on fat and the liar and heavy.
Will and Dawn went to Charleston, SC. Actually, they waddled about three blocks and called it the whole city.
They went to the home of sweet tea and had a light-colored raspberry concoction. They also ate a restaurant that wasn't Texas Roadhouse and were confused about olive oil and balsamic vinegar. This is a channel that does food reviews. Dawn also recommended "Outback Steakhouse" for a couple on their honeymoon in Vegas. Probably because "Dirt Dawg" was already booked.
Will says they are a variety channel. I remember when they were a Smoky Mountains channel. That was before Will got bored. So like six months ago.
Speaking of 'before', YITS went to St Augustine 'before', sweated up the same lighthouse as before, handled the same Buc-ee's merch as 'before' and booked the same crusty motel as 'before'. All in the name of monetizing content. They have been to the beach before. For people who go to the beach, they never do anything actually ON the beach. They don't tan. They don't swim. This time Dawn got to drive on the beach. Is driving in a line of Jeeps on the beach fun? If she had fun doing that, she should try driving in traffic sometime! Whoo hoo!
Speaking of 'before', Will has had a giant bacon sandwich before. Dawn has had a giant Cuban before. Cue David Byrne and Talking Heads, "Same as it ever was..."
Anakeesta had a media day. YITS treated it like anytime before. More fake bridge swinging. Bridges that are a foot above the ground. Bridges you can see kids playing on in the background. "Same as it ever was..."
After the cruise, Will and Dawn hit up Universal Studios. Did you know that theme park tickets are expensive? Did you know that there are TWO separate gates at Universal Studios Orlando? It's only been that way since 1999. Did you know that 'Back to the Future: The Ride' is gone? The Simpsons opened in 2008. Only 15 years. Mr Research strikes again. I can't wait for Will's video showing how he books his trips. We all know how: he books the cheapest. The end.
It goes without saying that Will is a big fan of Adam the Woo. I think it's fair to say that Adam has spent a great deal of time at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando. Do Will and Dawn not pay attention to Adam's vlogs? Are they both too busy fantasizing in Adam's chubby dreaminess instead of actually paying attention to the location? Wait. Scratch that. Of course they do. "Same as it ever was..."
Is Dawn okay? People online noticed that Dawn had episodes during the livestream. They're concerned that they may be seizures. We hope she's okay. Unfortunately, she probably doesn't have insurance either way. Speaking of insurance, what ever happened to Will's colonoscopy? Dawn turned 50, but Will said he was getting a colonoscopy. Just like his deck, it's not happening. Maybe Will can fly in some Amish doctors?
In the meantime, we wait for day one of Dawn's 50th Birthday Bacon Cruise.
Here's what we know:
Salt water was horrible on Will's skin. You know what else has been rough on Will's skin? Not washing it. It's amazing how far a little soap can go.
Dawn ate a lot of watermelon... and bacon. Will probably ate... everything, but it's just for content. Same as it ever was...
Will says they are going on another cruise, a Disney Cruise and "countryside England". That's right! Will wants to do backroads uh-ventures in England! More boring, more mispronouncing but in England!
In the meantime, Will has no plans and no ideas. How do we know this? He said as much. This summer he wants to go to Big Bear Mountain (didn't he already do that?), check out Buc-ee's (because they are all soooo different) and go back to Dollywood (wait. Isn't Big Bear Mountain IN Dollywood?). Maybe he'll manage to drag out the electric bikes...nah. That takes effort.
Will, have you noticed a theme? You go to the same places and do the same things. You will go on another cruise and do the same things. You want to go to England and do backroads. It's the same. It's not that the Smoky Mountains are boring. It's you who are boring.
I think we're going to see 'Gluttony on the High Seas', ridiculousness at Universal and then a whole lotta nothing. But the stans won't notice that Will is a lazy grifter and Dawn, while maybe slower, isn't any better.
All aboard! This is about as good as YITS is going to get. Once they get back from Orlando, it's going to be a long, boring summer of YITS.
Same as it ever was...
