I was gutted earlier when the “Neighbours child keeps asking me for food” thread was closed. I knew the OP had gone quiet but I was hoping from a response from them 
There can be some very entertaining trolls but most of those advice threads give the game away after a few posts.

. It was on the verge of “so the girl turned up with her suitcases and said she was moving in but me and my husband had to move into the shed, I couldn’t say no, I’m too nice so we packed up and left. I daren’t go round to let the parents know because I don’t want any trouble”.
Why put a thread in advice just to say no to everything? You really do get good advice on here.

I have seen some really good advice given in various threads, but what strikes me is that the OP's rarely take the advice, the thread goes round and round in circles, and then ends up being locked. This just happened with the kid climbing over the fence thread and I still can't figure out why someone would go to the trouble and expense of buying a new fence rather than just calling over to those parents and explaining what was going on?! 10 pages that went on for.

I have thought for a while they are back on the whydt thread.
I believe a lot of the posts mentioned are earnest but that’s just me 
I actually had an idea who MDs new account was as they mentioned breaking bad in the past and a new account a few months ago, who had a breaking bad PFP spoke in the exact same way but this time they were an older man, but they made me suspicious due to the way the way they told a story, similar toHave a sneaky suspicion MD may still be lurking
MD so they kind of let themselves slip. It’s weird but I notice how people type, and I know who is who without even looking at the username tbh. So
But to the fake advice threads, it’s weird. I don’t know what they’re getting at. It’s extremely weird and it’s just making people who actually are ACTUALLY having problems seem distrustful. I have had problems in my life and I prefer to rant or to tell the problems I have had or am having rather than to pander to people, I also feel I am smart enough to come to conclusions and resolutions by myself so I don’t ever feel the need to ask for help online.
I also find mostly all users on here genuine, as most of us here just want a goss or a chat. I am not distrustful and I like nearly everyone. It’s just the odd few who just so happen to be weirdos, which I’m happy as I’ve been using online forums for years and years and the amount of weirdos on them were unbelievable so tattle is a bit of a godsend as they have good mods and seem to have decent users and people who aren’t afraid to call out the trolls.

However, I am convinced that trolls roam amongst us. Why would someone like Mulholland Drive, who seemingly spent most of their day on Tattle, just stay away after they've been banned? I'd also be fascinated to know how many Influencers are here under aliases.
I always get suspicious when there are new members but they post constantly, mostly just a couple of words that add nothing just get to VIP status. I saw someone recently who was a new member but within like 2 weeks they were VIP
What’s the big deal about the VIP status anyway? Noticed a few of the VIPS think they own tattle and don’t like it when others comment.
VIP means nothing though. It’s literally just a meaningless ranking. Odd behaviour.
Took me a year and a half to get to VIP on here and no one has treated me differently because I have the VIP title
