Who do you just NOT get the public appeal of and why?

I could kind of believe it based on the kinds of person they both usually go for. JM usually goes for older, richer, more famous partners and Sue seems to want someone who makes her feel like she's still young.

I'm really baffled by his success,he is just a scruffy looking hobbit with an acoustic guitar,I was watching the eddie Murphy film trading places,It made me wonder if Ed is only famous because of a bet between two very rich music moguls,one day they were boasting with each other about how rich and successful they are and that they could make anyone into a top music star,one day one of them spotted this scruffy ginger feral looking kid busking,they both noted that he sounded terrible and lacked any sex appeal,so one of them made a bet that they could turn him into a music superstar,that's my theory on Ed sheeran.

Castles on the Hill and Shivers are good, I'll give him that.

Nothing new...just when Eamonn and Ruth got replaced by Alison, never had any presenting experience except for dribs and drabs and competitions etc and suddenly she replaces them as a main host. She was quick to screw them over and jump in their place. But appears she'd do anything for the attention/money. If it's not dressing up in fancy dress, it's making a prat of herself in front of a Hollywood A lister.

She is shocking at presenting and so annoying. Ok when doing a 10 minute interview but not a 2 hour show.

Jessie Ware and the podcast she does with her mum, Table Manners, it is a good concept and they have some great guests but she just CONSTANTLY interrupts, most of the time you learn more about her than the guests, which is really not the point of interviewing someone

I've never heard this but with her mum??? I dont even know who Jessie Ware actually is aside from this podcast I was told about (or is this all she does? ) what makes them think we want to know what Mavis from Basingstoke thinks about things? Mind you I will admit this is my general viewpoint on most chat based podcasts... when I was younger me and my friends used to talk nonsense into a tape recorder.. Podcasts seem like a tech upgrade version of that

I don't really know much about her but she does seem to incur the wrath of a lot of the forum. And same with that Tracy DiMarco whose threads never slow down for a second.

She's in the same age group as (off the top of my head) Cate Blanchett, and Kate Garraway, and she's years younger than, say, Nadia Sawalha and Tilda Swinton and Dawn French: a group whose skin looks good enough that most women in that age group might wonder what they are using... but she looks older (I assumed much older) and her skin looks rougher than any of those women!
I understand that she's probably a good facialist and knows what products to recommend for different skintypes etc but she's not a great advert for her own methods IMO.

I supoose it depends who you compare to her to. I'm sure she may look worse than some and better than others. I wouldn't be complaining if I got her her age and looked like that.
