Mid 30’s.

Dyed my grey roots up until 5 years ago, then let myself go grey. It felt very liberating, not to mention the money saved in not having to fork out £50 every four weeks! I still have my natural darker hair in places, and the grey.

When I hit 30! Get the odd few around back of my ears and temples- I just yank em out which I’ve been told is the worst thing to do! I’m dark so they really stand out which drives me mad! Dye my hair every so often to get rid of any I might have missed!

Found my first grey hair age 19, second year at uni. I was devastated! However my mum (who had very dark brown/ black hair) found her first one at 15.

Nearly 30 years on my roots are now completely grey. I've not been my natural colour for well over 20 years though. I was red for a long time in the 90s, then went more light brown with highlights, back to reddy brown shades. A year ago I stripped and bleached my hair and am now quite a light blonde. The best bit is that I now can't see any roots at all because the grey blends into the blonde whereas when it was dark I was dyeing it every 6 weeks!

None yet (I'm 30 in 19 days). My mum is 65 and still has beautiful auburn hair, no grey. Unlikely to be the same as I'm too blonde :cautious:
