20 and I'm 43 now. I have been dyeing my hair since I was 16 and I tried to embrace it during lockdown but as soon as those hairdressers were open I was straight in there!

in my early 50's, only a few, at this rate I will be totally grey by 70.

Mid 30s I think, but I’ve always dyed my mousy brown hair darker anyway. I have to do it far more often now, as my roots are so noticeable, but I still prefer the look of coloured hair, if it’s a subtle shade if possible, so will carry on (I’m now in my late 50s).

I first noticed white hairs when I was 39 as reduced my highlights but I reckon I started going grey at about 37/8. They are only along the centre parting (can't find any others) think I have about 30 white hairs, so not too many. I'm undecided how I feel about them, I don't mind getting older but don't know if I want a visual reminder. I'm sure I'll get used to it soon enough.

I’ve got shit hair, super thin, and what I did have fell out with extreme weight loss. Naturally blonde so I never noticed these greys creeping in. I get highlights every 12/18m because I detest sitting in front of a mirror Analysing the width of my thighs for 3 hours having it done- lockdown scuppered my annual do and now I really notice my 2” wide grey go faster stripe down the middle of my parting

I have Cool toned black hair naturally, everyone thought I dyed it and noticed my hair going white mid 30s. I am now 46 and have loads but I dye my roots every 3 weeks using a brown dye and think blends well with the dark I have left

I would say early 20s. I dye my hair at home every 6 weeks and am blond so it is not as noticeable. But I just turned 40 and am about 75% gray
I have thought about letting it grow out but I don't think everyone can pull it off. I have a feeling it will just make me look older.

I noticed my first greys at 28, the day after I'd had my son, no idea of it was linked I was having to dye every 3 weeks but aged 37 i stopped dying my hair and now aged 40 i am white at the front, then the rest is grey but it gets darker grey as you get to the back of my head. I've only had 2 negative comments to my face about being grey but I like it so that's all that matters

I was about 34. My grandmother hardly had a grey hair on her head til the day she died age 70 odd. I have quite a few now (I’m 45) but that’s what hair dye is there for!

I'd love my hair to turn silver/ grey.

I think I was about 33 or 34 when i noticed the first. I don't seem to have anymore yet so they must be appearing slowly. My dad's side of the family all still had dark hair in their 70s/80s and my mother's mam went pure white.(My mam dyed her hair so don't know how grey she was) . So I don't know who I'm going to take after .

I do have a stray white hair in my eyebrow but I pull it out.

My partner had grey hair when I met him and he was 23! He does have very dark brown/black hair and they tend to go grey earlier.
