I don’t think I do yet.
I’m 50 with 2 children in their early 20’s.
I think it will probably be when I lose my dear dad and that generation has gone. I’ll then have nobody “above” me to go to. :(

31 with a long term partner, kitten and house but still feel like i am 20 at times... hangovers say otherwise but literally i am the last out of all the girls i went to school with to have kids!! I feel like I need to within the next few years but I enjoy going out when I want, travelling when i want, spending money on myself when I want...

When I left home at 21. It was so good to have that bit of independence, do what I wanted, come home pissed if I wanted to, etc. 🤣

Now that I'm older than a lot of the parents of the children in my year 6 class I feel old😂. I remember when I first started teaching at 24 would feel young and inexperienced at parents meetings etc. 15 years later I'm the older more experienced one!

I moved out of my parents house 5 years ago and rented a house with an ex but two years ago we split and I now live alone. I think when that happened, I always sorted everything anyway back then, sorted the bills and stuff but now living alone I am independent and HAVE to do everything myself

Age 24. I moved out at 20 but still never felt like an adult, now my brain has matured and I've got my tit together a bit more I feel more like an adult.

My mum died when I was 19 and I changed massively as a person. I had to look after my dad and make sure he was ok (rest of my family are abroad or live in other cities). I’m now early 30’s and married with a mortgage and a baby. I feel grown up when I’m in home watching saturday night telly, glass of booze, toys everywhere and feel pretty content about life. A bit soft but it’s a far cry from going out, getting pissed and snogging random people ten years ago on a Saturday night!

I genuinely look at people in their 30s, married, house, kids etc and think whoa! That's old!

But then I remember I am all those things🤣🤣🤣
I still look for an adult in situations, and on the rare occasion I actually get a night out and get to be me, not mum, I embrace it and act 18 again (without the random snogging - I don't forget myself that much 😂)
And I do feel quite down for a few days afterwards when I'm realising I am an adult! So I definitely dont think I'm grown up yet!

I think this past year has matured me. I’ll be 28 in a fortnight & I’m only just starting to realise I’m an adult 🤣

The day my pregnancy test was positive 🤣 I was 20 and reality hit me like a tonne of bricks, 21 now and due in 3 weeks and I feel I have changed and grown up a lot. My priorities are totally different

Sometimes I hear of someone who seems really old but they're actually a year older than me and I'm like WTF?! They're only a year older than me but they seem so much older!

I don’t think anyone starts to feel fully ‘grown up’

I think we just continue to grow into different people

For example there may have been a time I was only interested in the clothing or makeup section in a department store but now I go straight to homeware

I don’t think I’ll ever grow up!
But the first time I felt old was when I was getting off the plane after landing in Amsterdam and a group of 18 years olds said ‘let that lady go first’ I was SO upset. I felt like saying No!! I’m not a lady, I’m a girl, ’m one of you, I’m young! But I’m not. I’m 30 😭 ruined my trip that did 😂
