A woman I follow done an entire set of stories yesterday on MLM schemes and it was so interesting! She’s not saved it as a highlight which is a shame but she shared some of the comments people sent to her about their experiences, and they do not match up with the magical story Laura tells!

I’m surprised there’s never been an expose done on MLMs like the perfume. There’s no longevity in it for a reason! I’m embarrassed to say I’ve purchased a perfume and it’s noticeably different to the real thing
I got one too from my sister in law and it was very different to the real thing. Such a scam.
I can’t remember what MLM it focused on by pretty sure I watched a doc on BBC iPlayer about it. I’ve never been able to look at them the same way. The people who were convinced of even family wouldn’t buy they didn’t love you etc. The ways and means they made people Think, who were signed up with them to sell, was quite shocking.

Yeah they’re usually close I think but not exactly the same. I do have a Zara perfume that smells exactly like my fave perfume that I keep around for days when I’m going nowhere special. I reckon some formulas are easier to copy that others!
