Ben from CKTC was on First Dates a while back. He had been a drug addict and looked quite rough. I wish I'd never watched it as it was sad, and I used to love him when I was a teenager back in the day.

It is depressing when that happens. Wendy James from transvision vamp looks awful for the same reasons. Bananrama on the other hand still look amazing. Anyway going OT….

Ben from A1 was also co creator of Eugenius and was in the Rocky Horror show. Met him after a Q and A Sunday session. I got quite excited when it clicked that Ben Adams was THAT Ben Adams. I got even more excited when he mentioned Paul was watching the show. I used to like Ben, but then I preferred Paul. When I glimpsed him outside and said to my partner "Omg that's Paul!!" He heard me and smiled but I was too shy to go over because he was there to see the show, not like in a professional capacity....and also because I quite loudly got over excited.


But yeah Ben was fit as fuck..and same when we met him after Rocky Horror. Decided to go on a researching spree. He did do Dancing on Ice in Norway as I think they still have a decent following there and his partner is Norwegian.

That led me to watching a few different big reunions where I promptly went off him a bit.

Watched the one with Kavana and it was sad. He fell out of favour because of Adam Rickett becoming the Golden boy. He lost a lot and developed a dependency problem. Had to sell the house he bought his parents and I think his dad also died. He is doing music again and I did see a video of one of his more recent live sessions. The song was really good and he was playing the piano.

Razorlight and lead singer Johnny borrell. I remember the band and Johnny being touted as having a great future in music.
They had a few hits as a band and then he went on to do solo stuff which didn't make an impact.

I think running his mouth didn't help him too much. I can't remember exactly what he said but he used to declare himself a genius and trash other bands whilst being a bland Indie cardboard cutout himself.

I was looking at an old ASOS magazine from 2011 and saw her in a Pepe Jeans ad, and remembered how she was on every runway and in every print ad and ABSOLUTELY FUCKING EVERYWHERE for about a year or two, then poof! suddenly disappeared.

Oh gosh, yes. Why did she stop being a top model? I never saw what the fuss was about with her.

And the group scarlet? Pretty sure would have been around the same time.

I loved "Independent Love Song", had it on a compilation tape at the time, reminds me of a family holiday in France driving around playing the tape over and over.

Does anyone remember Jonathan Wilkes, Robbie Williams's "best mate", he had a single out circa 2001 which flopped, I don't think it made top 20, I can't remember how it went now.

Josh Hartnett lives in Surrey now with his wife Tamsin Egerton and their kids, a couple of posters on the Secret Celeb Gossip threads live near him and have seen him in the local supermarket. He's still doing films but smaller ones nowadays.
