I read he had a regular job a few years ago. He did something stupid but he was set up. He didn't deserve to lose the career he had been building since he was a kid over it.

when I heard about the rape Duffy went through after which she took herself out of music

my heart absolutely broke for her and I wanted to hug her

a massive crush of mine ever since Mercy came out

when I saw Duffy,s interview last year with Jo Whiley it made me want to write to the show so Jo could send my love and best to her

@Pizzledizzle there’s been a few articles published recently about Paul Nichols and he doesn’t seem to be doing terribly well and looks quite ill. I also found the Thailand story very strange…

This list is like the soundtrack of my early teen years 😁 Does anyone remember Kaci, she did a song called Paradise? I remember buying her album, she was only 13 at the time I think. And JoJo, who did that Leave (Get Out) song, I think she was only 13 as well.

Brookside my specialist subject! Philip Olivier aka Tinhead was on Benidorm and also on Four in a Bed with a floating guest house, now he runs a tour bus in Liverpool. Leon Lopez aka Jerome is a director now, his name pops up on Corrie and Hollyoaks credits occasionally. Jacqui Dixon is on Hollyoaks, also had a flop coffee shop in Liverpool. Jen Ellison has a stage school. Nikki Shadwick, the one who played her dad and Sinbad pop up in Scouse plays. Matt Musgrove went into Hollyoaks and sadly died really young, think he was only about 30 god love him

One of my friends had a roofing company do work on her house a few years ago and the lead roofer was John Hendy of East 17 fame!

Speaking of 1990s pop...does anyone remember this beauty?

Paul danan lived in a small town I lived near to a few years back. I have no idea why he just appeared. He acted like he was some huge celeb but was actually a bit of a laughing stock. By then it was years after Hollyoaks and love Island.

He thought all the girls wanted him and did the do you know who I am? I did but said no, who are you? He didn't like that.
He was a massive druggie and a story that went around the town was someone saw him in a graveyard digging around for some drugs he had lost. I honestly think this would be true. I can't remember them now but it came up on a local page on Facebook a couple of years back and there was some right stories about his ways people had put and the crazy things people saw him do.
In a way it was quite sad. He thought he was some big celeb but in reality had ended up in a tiny town off his face leaching off people in pubs.
He also wore the most hideous jacket/cardigan thing.
From what I remember it resembled one of them old fluffy rugs old people have with like a tiger or something on? Hard to explain 😂 it looked horrific though and in need of a wash.

I think he did come dine with me when there too or shortly after. He just disappeared after a while. Seen him on the odd thing since but he was a strange man, hopefully he has sorted himself out since then.
