My feet hurting after a 7 hour shift

Yes! What is with feet when you are getting older. Mine are so weird. The slightest thing they start hurting they are full of blisters and I have a corn I can't seem to get rid of
Mine have seemed to expanded gone from size 5 to a 6 wide foot. They swell in hot weather. Cold weather seem to be like blocks of aching ice. Get told of my older sister that's the joy of age.
I've got a chilblain which sounds so medieval and makes me feel about 100.

Instead of begging or borrowing stepladders from family I have bought my own set today. Feeling old but oddly proud

Comparisons like that always freak me out. 50 years ago it was the 1970s which doesn't feel that long ago really, 50 years before the 1970s ws the 1920s, which must have felt like aeons ago even in the 70s.

Younger people at work saying about using a CD rom for homework and dial up and I’m like ‘I had to use britannica encyclopaedias years old’ for my homework

I have a niece who turns twenty one this year and another who turned thirty last year !
My nieces and nephews are all adults bar one oldest nephew is 33 and i’m a great Auntie with one of my nieces. Im soooo old!

I remember in 1987 when there was all the "It was 20 years ago today" stuff because Sgt Peppers was released in 1967. It felt like a lifetime ago as music had changed so much in the intervening 20 years. Maybe I'm just an old fart but a lot of music of today doesn't sound that different to 2005 to my ears.
