You know like if you're going to a big event and there's all them people in high-viz vests, and there's like the ones at the event who wander around but also the ones in the car park who just wave at cars? You know where to go and you can see the bay is clearly marked out, but there's still some dude in a high viz [sometimes with one of those clicker-counter thingies, if they;re well good] who waves at you to tell you to the thing you were gonna do anyway?

duck those people. I'd never date one of them.

Would much rather date a fishmonger, sewer worker, bin man etc than some little ponce posing constantly and filming “content for my channel” At least those other guys put in a shift, earn their crust honestly and do something positive for society.

Cannot say the same for the Alfie Deyes of the world. No amount of money would make me consider that level of entitlement. bleeping “influencers” how did this even become a job title?! 😡

I like drive and ambition in people. So if he just plodded along, it wouldnt be attractive.

In terms of profession, forces - I would worry about their safety all the time, and ive been around army men enough to not trust them for anything serious 🤣 Policemen cos I dont trust them. Nightlight stuff like DJ or barman. Theyre the first to come to mind that would make me doubt seeing them.

It’s a wonder I met my husband. I was a fishmonger when we met and now I work for the family business 🤣 I have been told not to get back to being a fishmonger (I loved that job!)

I wouldn’t date a copper or a teacher based on friend’s experiences. I also wouldn’t be keen on someone in the forces.

But saying that as long as they were working and not dossing I wouldn’t care.

There isnt one on the top of my head tbh.....

Although im a social worker and i always discourage people from getting into my profession, so can i say my own job?

I couldn't be in a relationship with a debt collector/bailiff or any job I thought was exploitative such as hard selling to pensioners or a payday loan company. Would prefer them not to be a butcher or fishmonger unless they were scrupulously clean. Other than that, don't think I'm too fussy.
ohhh good one. Like those people who worked in Brighthouse. I couldnt be with someone like that.

Anyone who has to be away from home for long periods of time whether that's through travel or just someone married to their desk.

A vicar. I'd feel like I'd have to be on my best behaviour all the time. No swearing etc. They are on call all the time and folk would be traipsing in and out of the house all the time.

Some kind of sales or client manager where they spend their life bullshitting and competing. Just not my sort of person.

I'd happily date a mortician though, I'd find it fascinating. My OH now also isn't a binman but a not dissimilar and sometimes smelly line of work but that doesn't bother me. He showers when he gets home. Any kind of physical work will make you smell tbh.

I probably couldn't date a fishmonger because I can't stand fish 🤮
