Mine’s set to 20 when it’s on, and it’s on a timer so goes off at night/at some points during the day. We have Hive though, so I love flicking it back on from my phone without my boyfriend noticing and starting a heating war with me 😂
Me too! I wasn’t that keen on getting it but we had a new boiler fitted back in the summer and the engineer recommended it. I’m the same, I feel like the keeper of the Crown Jewels because I can control the thermostat from my phone!

So good isn’t it! We moved into a house that already had it installed and I love it 😂

We moved from a flat that was always warm to a house so obviously a lot more space and generally a lot colder! I get cold quicker than he does so it’s nice to be able to subtly turn it up slightly when I get chilly without him realising!

I dream of having a thermostat, why do so many landlords not have them?! 🤬😡😠
I'm a rental and have a thermostat. It's portable so you can pick the place although I live in a flat so the bluetooth can't reach the boiler at the back 😂

Just today I have changed the program from going off whilst no ones home (although I am but I live in a new build and if I shut the spare room door I stay warm whilst WFH!) to 19.c from 6.30am - 8.30pm. It’s chilly 🥶

@mochibean It’s 17 degrees indoors (-1 outside, I’m in London) and I’m still in a t shirt. Probably needless to say, but I run really hot!
Wow your place is really warm! It's -1 here in Sheffield but if I don't have the heating on it drops to around 14 degrees in Winter at times and I'm a naturally cold person. 😅

Set to come on between 5.30 and 8am at 21 but I always end up putting it on early afternoon at 23 as that seems to be the only way the radiators heat up! Our living room has really high ceilings and only one double radiator but it’s no where near enough to heat the room 🥶. Although sitting on the toilet is lovely and warm next to the bathroom radiator! Lol

I also don't have a thermostat due to renting. I have my heating on all day and only off at night time. I'm worried the bill is going to be crazy 😂

People who leave your heating on all day, is your bill bad???
No because once it hits the set temperature the furnace stops running. It will only kick in again if it goes below. I am not sure how heating works in the UK? Here in Canada it's air blown through floor vents.

Ours is set to 19, but this is a particularly cold wooden built ancient old house, log burner going full pelt for the last 48 hours, ive got layers on, and a hot water bottle and I'm still not toasty.. . I am a proper chilly morsal tho, always got a hat on, sleep in pjs and with a electric blanket.
Hurry up summer!!

23 degrees but its a very, very old and draughty farmhouse. Have experimented having it lower but 23 seems to be about right.
