What is your heating set to?

We set our furnace to 19 all year round. It is winter and -30 outside and 19 is warm enough inside.
And in summer the AC cools to 19.
Our furnace doesn't run all the time, only if the temperature drops will it kick in, heat up then stop.

I can't go to bed without it any higher than 12! If I do I wake up really like disorientated, sweaty and it makes me really angry 🥴

We have ours set to 20 overnight and about 22 in the day during winter 😂 my partner sets it to 24 when he’s home! Bloody sauna

We have it set to 22 but our place warms up quickly so usually only need it on for 10 minutes a couple of times during the day/evening.

Please don't let this turn into threads like this do on Mumsnet with stealth bragging of how frugal people are with their heating 😂 🥶

We haven't had our heating on since 1984, and even then it only came on when it went below -10 😉

We have it set to around 20-21* when we are home and it goes down to 16.5/17 at night. I can’t sleep warm!
we once lived in a flat with single pane glass and no heating so these days I’m not stingy with the heating. Life’s too short to be cold.
We have a house that seems to piss warmth out the external wall on the side (semi detached) so it doesn’t retain heat well (thermostat in hall)

my parents have the house to like 22-24, I call their home the Caribbean 😂

My heating isn’t on! But I’m a top floor flat so it stays pretty warm and I love my weighted blanket.

Ooh yes, when we were in a condo with people below, we rarely needed the heat on :D

hahaha, I didn't even know that was a thing!!!

I am sure Mark (The Anna Edit's) husband would be saying that since he never allows her to have the heat on 😅

Mine is set to 22C and on a timer so it goes off for a few hours during the day and overnight. I’d like to turn it lower but I work in the kitchen now and it gets cold. Before work from home life id have it down at about 19 and it would be off all day while I was at work. I’d just layer up when I got home until it heated up again.

Mine doesn’t seem to click on below 20, unless I’m doing it wrong 🤣 I have it at 24, turn it into a sauna and then turn it off. I’ve been known to wake up at 3am and turn it right up, then I wake up at 7 wondering why I’m sweating

22 at the moment. It’s very cold here just now, can’t wait until this cold snap is over and we can keep it off for the majority of the day again.

Set to 24, Mother is 90 years old, we can manage on 22 sometimes and the heating gets turned down to 20 overnight.

19, but I boost to 24 when I’m WFH. I am a chilly mortal and always wear a thermal vest, jumper and a chunky knit indoors too.

ETA and I have a hot water bottle for the day and electric blanket for the night.

Mine is “set” at 20 but I don’t leave it on. I’ll usually put it on for an hour in the morning and a couple of hours in the evening. I hate feeling too warm especially when I’m in bed, I much prefer it cold but snuggly.

Although now I’ve written it down, I wonder if I have a problem with my circulation 🤣

And I have a 13.5 tog duvet at all times, even in the height of summer.
I never change my duvet!! I think mine is 13.5 too. I often also wake up with more clothes then I started the night with and think when the hell did I put all of these on
