It not a rant but a winge - about the summer heat. I'm not alone when i say i hate the hot weather, Came back from m&s sweating like a pig. It too blooody hoooooot.

Allergies can set on anytime in life. I had a friend who around the age of thirty suddenly became allergic to everything going. Hairdye started it off, the hairdresser had to call an ambulance. Now she’s allergic to shellfish, latex and a bajillion other random things.For some reason I have had a bit of a allergic reaction to Strawberries ! I ate some last night and my lips immediately swelled up and still like it this morning. Never had this happen before
I would say get yourself tested asap.

Completely agree.
I appreciate that I'm in a fortunate position in that I earn what's classed as a decent salary. However I don't live lavishly (I cut my own hair, have never had a manicure, don't buy coffees, we have takeaways or go out for a meal maybe every other month if that).and despite all that I still find my money doesn't go very far, even if I don't spend on all those extras it's the basics that are so expensive now. My shopping costs double despite the fact I buy less! I'm being nagged by a friend to go for a weekend away with her, but that's £500 minimum which I don't have spare from my salary and am reluctant to take out of my savings.

Not so much a rant, more of an irritated moan.
There are some boys playing in the street outside. I don't mind this so much, they're not being overly loud, and it's nice that they're away from screens.
However.
One of the boys lives 3 doors down, and his Grandad lives next door. Grandad has given them some bits of wood and they've made a ramp for their bikes and scooters, which they've placed outside our house, and they are riding up and down the footpath and onto the road. The speed limit on our street is 20mph, but there are plenty of idiots who ignore that. None of them are wearing a helmet, and one doesn't even have a shirt on. I'm sitting here waiting for an accident to happen, and I'm expecting to have to rescue an injured child and take them home. I don't even know for definite where the other 2 boys live.
Also, I don't know the ages of the other 2, but the boy who lives on this street has only just turned 6. It's impossible that either his Mum or Grandad can see him from their houses, so nobody is watching these kids. I personally feel that they're a bit young to be playing in the road with nobody watching.

My fucking consultant's appointment has been cancelled AGAIN, it's been 6 months since I was referred and each month it gets cancelled and rebooked, just to be cancelled three weeks later.
I now have to shell out nearly £1000 to go private because I can't get travel insurance if I don't get answers. I was supposed to be seen urgently in February

Not a rant for a change, but I know they get alot of stick, Drs receptionists, I spoke to one 3 weeks ago, she wasn't very nice, spoke to a different one this morning, complete opposite, she was lovely and actually arranged for a Dr to call me, which she did! Why can't they all be like that.

According to the highway code as a pedestrian I have right of way. So why yet again when I'm half way across the road, is some eejit in a car refusing to stop for me? This is only the fourth time this year it's happened. I've at least twice been lucky that I wasn't run over because they're going too fast
