What do you order from the Chinese takeaway?

Bloody hell I fancy a Chinese now.

Half Chinese here, my plead to everyone! Can we not put Egg Fried Rice and Noodle on the same plate when you get take out, I have seen picture when there is egg fried rice+ chow mien+ sweet and sour chicken on the same plate. You either pick noodle or rice, you cannot have both.

Imagine eating pasta with risotto at the same time.

[whispers] I prefer Japanese - prawn gyoza, chicken teriyaki, vegetable and prawn tempura, etc.

But, as we have a sizeable Cantonese population in town, there is definitely a place for a takeaway in our meals.

Crispy Prawn Balls. Same principle as the chicken or pork ones, just much, much nicer.
Kung Po chicken.
Salt & Pepper Squid.
Pak Choi & Beef in Oyster Sauce.
Mussels in black bean sauce.

And, of course, what few people mention - when we're a bit skint - chips and curry sauce.

Salt & chilli chips or chips in gravy
Lemon chicken
Salt & chilli chicken
Chicken/mushroom curry

I’m pescatarian but not gonna lie, starting to really miss sweet and sour chicken balls or a Chinese buffet.
