Chinese is my absolute FAV! Had it last night and leftovers today

We tend to order the same thing too:

Sweet & sour chicken hong kong style
Special chow mein
Egg fried rice
Chips
Prawn toast
Prawn crackers (usually free)

Sometimes switch it up a bit and order beef in black bean sauce or chicken curry if we're feeling adventurous 😁

Had one tonight, I ordered salt and chilli chicken chow mein.

I quite like honey chilli dishes, bbq spare ribs, noodles, any shredded chicken meals.

i'm so boring we always have the same order (this is for 2 adults and a little one, I normally plate myself up twice as I like the leftovers)

mixed starters (prawn toast, seaweed, spare ribs, spring rolls)
smoked shredded chicken
honey roast pork
plain chow mein
special fried rice (dry)
sweet and sour sauce
chips

Weird, just had our first Chinese tonight in ages! Me and my mini shared BBQ ribs, salt & pepper chicken, char sui foo young, egg fried rice, noodles and S&P chips 🤤 hubby had chippy 😂

I have a nut allergy so don’t normally order things too out there, normally go for chow mein and chicken in black bean sauce...I’ve never had these salt and pepper chips, funnily enough we had one last night and I did look for them on the menu but they only do normal chips at mine ☹ Are salt and pepper chips nice? I’d love to try them
You won’t ever go back to ‘normal’ chips 🤤

I always order the same thing...

Singapore vegetarian noodles with extra chilli.
Either shredded beef or duck and pancakes.
Salt and pepper chips.
Seaweed.
Sweet and sour sauce.

My partner likes to order these pizza boxes from our local chinese and it does my head in. They are over priced and contain 80% salt and pepper chips and a few spring rolls and chicken balls and a tub of egg fried rice. The fact this is his go-to takeaway favourite does my brain in.

Ours has stopped giving free prawn crackers and now you get free mini spring rolls. Bring back the prawn crackers!
I know a Chinese takeaway is not authentic at all but I love sweet and sour chicken hong kong style. Char siu fried rice (which is weird as I hate pork and don’t eat it usually) and satay chicken skewers but only if ifs the really thin chicken strips and not chunks of chicken.
Would love that now but have horrendous toothache so living on co codamol and water as anything that makes me close my mouth hurts like hell.

Chicken in black bean sauce or chicken with ginger and spring onions and egg fried rice. Occasionally sweet and sour chicken but I find it really greasy.
