With all the crap going on in the world I needed something quintessentially British and ‘pure’ so I’ve just binged Doc Martin… how have I never given this the time of day?? Loved it and dying to visit Cornwall. Now waiting for the final series in Oct. In the meantime, I’ve just binged Magpie Murders on BritBox with Leslie Manville(), it was actually really good!

Dorky boys in the suburbs find a girl friend who is special and they have a lot of adventures together. It’s nostalgic, scary, and fun.

With also a brilliant soundtrack that fits perfectly with the era it’s filmed in.
I feel like I need to rewatch the first 3 series ( although I didn’t rate the 3rd - felt like it was a bit rushed) before I get into series 4.
