Boyzone remind me of Steps,only get back together for the money.
I think it’s massively unfair to compare it to the Circus tour, it was not pitched as anything like that. I also like Take That and I’m going to see it this time around too, but let’s face it, they would not have the demand for a stadium tour with just the 3 of them were it not for the high production value of the Circus.
That being said Westlife are definitely back together for the money but I get the impression they like each other.
They could have tried a bit harder though? The clips I've seen look so half arsed.
The same with s club at the min they are all coming back at the same time, you can't really tell with s club they all hold a poker face so well you can't tell if they genuinely like each other or not as they don't show it on stage unlike steps they feel forced half the time to get on
Not sure it's just the fact it's the Circus as this is there I think 5th tour as a 3 and all have sold well.
I do think the fact TT it's more of a "show" helps though
They’ve done arenas since becoming a 3, this is the first stadium tour as a 3. And it’s smaller stadiums than previously as well with most venues still having tickets available, this isn’t the height of 2009. I’m not being negative about them, what they are doing is fab and I can’t wait to see it again. But the comparisons between what the respective groups are doing is ridiculous, Boyzone were never claiming this would be a high production event, it was a trip down memory lane and that’s what they put on.
At least steps had some absolute bangers

The difference is Take That really enjoy touring, still enjoy making music, and the three that are left seem to genuinely like and respect each other.
I really don’t know why Boyzone have done these two shows when they already had a farewell tour. If there had been some genuine repair of relationships then maybe I could see the point of getting some proper closure and ending Boyzone for good on a positive note. But doesn’t sound like that’s happened here.

Oh my point was more even tours that arnt The Circus they still sold alot, So its not just because its The Circus & they have had Stadium gigs since becoming 3 but included with the arena dates
I think with groups like s club, steps ect they are at a point of their lives where they've all experienced unemployment and know none of them individually will be bigger than the band. It pays to keep it civil like with a work colleague. Not necessarily best buddies but a mutual understanding to keep your ego in check and get the job done!

Keith Duffy probably thinks Brian Mc F is a better bet than Boyzone to keep the money coming in. They are in my town in a few weeks and friend wants to go but seeing the clips of last night I will not be wasting £50+ to see Boyzlife.
I read that Mikey didn't like some of the things that happened on the 2019 tour and said it was a toxic environment with Shane and Keith drinking too much and Mikey not getting enough "singing" time. There is a youtube about it - will have a look.
No way is boyzlife better I hope they two get done for copyright and stealing the bands songs to teach them a lesson he thinks he's now better but can't do his own songs and takes his group effort give ronan his due he did his own songs when he left the group
