I was there on Friday night and as a lifelong Boyzone fan, I loved it and was so glad I was there. I think they sold the first night quickly and easily so put on the second night but there wasn’t enough demand to sell that out in the same way to hardcore fans so tickets ended up being massively reduced. I don’t live in London and didn’t initially get a Saturday ticket due to the costs of travel and accommodation, but getting a cheaper ticket for Friday meant I was able to go. There was definitely a mix around of of people who were big fans and people who were just there for a night out on a cheap ticket (a woman behind us said to her friend “didn’t one of them die?” and she was Irish which made the comment even more baffling

) but everyone looked like they were having a great time and it was a great atmosphere. I’m so happy I got to be there.
Anyway, I think the next instalment of the documentary will be interesting and I wonder if we will learn more about the Mikey dynamic and what’s behind that. It must have taken a lot for Mikey to be there and perform so I really do not think we will see Boyzone perform as a 4 ever again. And I don’t think they have the ability to do anything as a 3 in the way that Take That have. And given that Ronan and Keith still perform regularly, I don’t think they have any need to go on as a 3 either.
