I know Mamma Mia isn’t an ALW show but really wanted him to be in this show so we can get the “goodbye” song again, when the weekly elimination takes place, and he had looked half dead and very perplexed as to what was going on 😂
Omg I still think about how the Dorothy’s gave him their shoes and how we all just accepted that as normal 💀💀

Paul Taylor Mills is one of the worst producers around at the moment for low pay, treating crew and cast like shit, and bad contracts

Just seen that they’ve announced some casting for the Les Mis arena tour. Alfie Boe and Killian Donnelly for Jean Valjean and Michael Ball or Bradley Jaden for Javert. As much as I like Boe and Ball, I really want to see Bradley Jaden’s take on the role when I go.
Sometimes I think they need to stop recasting the same people (Ball and Boe) and let some other talent have a go.

I don't think its fair to stop people leaving the auditorium during the show. Not everyone can hold their bladder until the interval, even if they haven't been continuesly drinking. Especially in shows with long act 1s or ones without any interval at all. maybe holding them at the back until a scene change or something.

I think part of the problem is the types of shows, many of the problematic ones are more like concerts. Which then makes things a grey area.
I think refusing to let anyone leave is playing a risky game with the equality act/those with hidden disabilities. It’s hard enough to ensure theatre is accessible without enforcing a rule where everyone needs to remain seated for over an hour at a time. That said, we’re all spending a lot of money to see these shows and a lot of work goes into putting the show on. There’s also a difference between having additional needs and being a wino who drank too much.

I try and book the seats on the end of the row and near the doors, and if I absolutely need to go, go in between songs etc. I couldn’t imagine disturbing an entire row!

Probably caught up in thinking he is a big deal now and she'll dump him after the filming romance
That’s what I’m thinking. Overnight, he switched his insta to private and his wife has said she was completely blindsided. Apparently he flew his wife and baby out to London and they all spent time with Arianna.

Hannah Lowther is part of the group that tiktok gave too much of an ego to! Gained a following during covid because there was nothing else to do and now her followers can’t ever see her doing any wrong, when she was such a pitchy Parr!

Tbh a lot of the former Six cast members (I'm not sure about most of the current west end/tour ones as I don't follow it as closely anymore) are kind of messy. Things that spring to mind are Natalie Pilkington (former tour swing) coming under fire for posting a picture last year of her with Native American headdress as one of the members of Village People. Some of the fandom got offended and messaged her about it and she took no accountability for it.

Also Erin Caldwell whos Seymour in the tour cast right now came under fire by some of the fandom for never giving credit for photography taken by fans on Instagram and she then posted a statement about it on her stories saying she had her reasons for it and just seemed pissy about it.

I wish I had screenshots of all these, I've attached a couple of screenshots re: Erin but thats all I can find
Speaking of Six cast, Aimie Atkinson was shagging Danny Mac while in Pretty Woman while his pregnant wife was at home. Also rumours that Erin wasn’t shy about putting herself out there either with helped for her to get 2 popular lead roles after her pretty pointless ensemble part in Pretty Woman!

… So nobody is allowed to ever say anything negative about a person’s performance now according to Hannah? If you’re in the spotlight, you need to accept criticism. And from the bootleg clip I’ve seen this week (which I’m sure is the one that’s triggered this tiktok), her voice does sound awful!

It’s not just performers that need to learn how to take criticism and accept that we have free speech. In every job there are opportunities for people to give negative feedback whether it’s asked for or not and I hate this creation of echo chambers that seems to be going on these days particularly around theatre folk. Commenting nastily for the sake of it or reaching out directly to the actor just to tell them you didn’t they were good isn’t on but criticising someone’s voice in a show or how they dance or act on a random social media post is completely acceptable. It’s up to the audience to decide if they like what they see and they can comment how they choose. It’s also up to the performer not to go trawling through posts to read/see stuff about themselves particularly if they can’t handle criticism.
Also comparing actors who’ve played the same role will always occur and trying to stop people comparing is just daft.

May be sticking my neck out but I just don’t like Rob Madge anyway, I realise I’m probably the only person in London to admit it 😂. Happy for those that are fully on the love-in bandwagon with him but I wouldn’t rush to pay money for him. When I saw that he was part of the Palladium Panto this winter just gone my heart did sink a little, sorry 😢

didn’t like Jennifer Saunders in it either, she irritates me too.

I refuse to believe all these west end actors tweeting about this have never watched a bootleg clip or audio themselves

Carrie has so many toxic traits herself I struggle to sympathise with her.

If the Danny Mac rumour is true I'm surprised but also a bit impressed. Cheating is awful and he is a dick for doing it obviously, but I just didn't know he had it in him. He always struck me as incredibly vanilla both as a performer and person.

Tik tok has a lot to answer for with people getting fame who wouldn’t have got it otherwise. Not to say Hannah wouldn’t have got there eventually. The more I’ve saw of her Six performance the more I think she seemed really nervous.
I agree, she seemed very nervous and a bit lost. I get that it’s overwhelming, but at the end of the day, she’s on stage in the west end, that people have paid good money to see. Both times I’ve seen Six, an alternate has been on and I wouldn’t have known. Sadly, I think with Hannah, you could tell. I wasn’t there, so it might have been better on the night.
She’s obviously trained and talented, but would she have been cast without her SM background? Maybe she’ll be better as Howard. For me, she plays the same character, whether it’s Heather, Parr or the SpongeBob role. She’s playing herself, singing, rather than getting in character

Problem is some shows (especially Six) encourage filming and social media posting as part of their marketing campaign. Its very hard dictate what id and isn't ok, its a bit of a 'cake and eat it' situation

I feel sorry for her, I don’t think she’s had a lot of critique on her vocals has she in a show?
---

I was going to ask the same!

it's a term for a bootleg of a musical. they get called slime tutorials so that they're less likely to get taken down for copyright infringement - i think just because tutorials on how to make slime were popular on youtube for a while!

Ball and Boe I agree with but Tennant is a phenomenal actor. She just sounds incredibly jealous and unprofessional.

I can’t imagine lower profile actors - or anyone who works on shows - publicly and negatively criticising casting choices in such a bitchy way and getting away with it career wise. Guess being a nepo baby has its perks! The rest of us just say it in person outside of work 😂
