Knew nothing of Mason until I saw them in Oh, Mary & just wow, what a performer. Blew me away & as someone who loves a stage door, can honestly say she’s incredibly gracious & gorgeous inside & out.Back to Rob & agree with others re their parents. Left Regards to Broadway wishing their dad was my dad!
Anyone else seen the Stranger Things stage show in London and not impressed by it?

West End loving friends, can you help?! I’m going to be in London for a work trip in a couple of months and am going to treat myself to a little theatre trip while I’m there.
Using the criteria of nothing I’ve seen before and nothing that’s currently touring I’ve narrowed it down to 3 options so would love to know people’s opinions on them…
Titanique - I love anything a bit camp and chaotic so this seems right up my street from what I’ve seen on social media.
The Producers - A classic that I feel like I should see.
Avenue Q - know very little about it other than it was a bit of a cult classic when it first came out.
If you were me which would you go for?

Both very stupid and roaringly funny. Titanique is very much like a cross between panto and a Drag Race acting challenge. (There’s even a lipsync for your life!) Avenue Q is more of a traditional book musical with heart behind the ridiculousness. Lots of nods to other shows. If you enjoyed BoM you should get on well with it.Producers - how do you feel about the film? I would use that as a good barometer.
Out of all of those, if it were me I'd go see Avenue Q as I enjoyed it on the tour I saw. I've never been sold in Titanique from what I've seen (e.g. big night of musicals and strictly plus not a big celene Dion fan).
I don't know much about The Producers so I can only really recommend Avenue Q as the one I've seen and enjoyed as a show.
Just booked me one of the £25 "on stage standing" tickets for Jesus Christ Superstar that's been announced this morning. Guess that is this summer's gimmick!

I’m the opposite with Titanique! Everything I’ve seen suggests it’s right up my street. Can totally see that it might be a bit marmite though!

no idea but the announcement is below, swipe/click right on it. when you book (need the link from the LWTheatres mailout today, general sale tomorrow) they make you tick a load of boxes about not being able to choose where you stand, and not being able to take bags etc. 50 tickets per show according to someone on theatreboard.

I booked too! Have seated tickets for first preview and closing night but wanted to make my proper on-stage West End debut so have booked to see a different Herod (being a "poor person in the crowd" for last year's Evita balcony scene I don't think really counted).
I’d see The Producers - id never seen the film either and I loved the show. It’s just silly fun.

I’ve seen Titanique and The Producers this year and preferred the Producers. Titanique was funny but a bit chaotic whilst I felt the Producers had more of a storyline and I love a bit of tap dancing!
The Producers is great - this production is one of my top 5 musicals of all time - so very very funny - especially if yu can get cheap front row. Titanique is great fun, but I wouldn't bother to go back. I have tickets for Avenue Q in July so dont know about that yet. Generally I have recommended The Producers to anyone I can
I really enjoyed the Producers, Avenue Q is also great if a bit dated, and whilst Titanique was funny, it was full of screaming hen party huns singing along which really irritated me (the house staff did attempt to shut them up with variable degrees of success).
