Burlesque again, apparently this "just two minutes" announcement was after they'd already kept everyone waiting 20 minutes. And had a show stop in the second half as well due to some set malfunction.
Awh such a good look for press night in Glasgow. You couldt make it up by this point. Just put it out its misery for the sake of the cast & crew.
I'm actually disgusted.
What an appalling way to treat your audience, whoever they are.
Those responsible for this mess of a show shouldn't be allowed to work in the industry again.

I saw Vanessa Williams in July. Yeah, it’s ok, nothing waw but entertaining and the costumes are amazing. So many of them! Terry Hatcher has been announced as the new Miranda PriestleyLooking for something (light/ untaxing) to go to, in London, in a few weeks. The Devil wears Prada caught my eye. Anyone recommend it? Or not? TVM.

The National Theatre is doing a production of West Side Story.
Could be something very special. I hope so, it's one of my favourite ever musicals and has been for much of my life.
Hopefully it will not be like the reimagined Broadway version which was a disaster and didn't work at all.

Something’s Coming…
A major revival of the Broadway classic will play in the Olivier theatre next winter.
Conceived by Jerome Robbins (Gypsy) this new production will use his original choreography, reproduced and adapted by Julio Monge, who was artistic collaborator and consultant on Steven Spielberg’s 2021 film adaptation.
This American masterpiece, with a book by Arthur Laurents (Gypsy), music by Leonard Bernstein (On the Town) and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim (Follies), will be co-directed in a new production reuniting directors Marianne Elliott and Miranda Cromwell after their award-winning West End and Broadway revival of Death of a Salesman.
