Dwarves is my main fear. I can’t be near them in person of I have a full on panic attack. I can’t even watch movies with a dwarf in.

Close second is open water & being stuck in a small space.

Most of mine are food related- I spent 10 years petrified of green food, all green food. I’m slightly better now although occasionally I’ll freak out a bit.
I’m still scared of baked beans, peanut butter. Sweet corn and milk 🤦🏼‍♀️
Is is the texture of the foods that scare you? Is it anything specific about them? Hope you don’t mind me asking

I don’t think it’s claustrophobia because it’s not necessarily small spaces (though it includes them) but I can’t handle being in a space big or small if I can’t get myself out/am relying on someone to get me out or move so I can get out. Like sitting in the back of a two door car or being in a locked place.
Also small spaces that I might get physically stuck in and/or run out of air.

I have 2 very strange phobia and everyone thinks I’m being ridiculous and thinks it’s funny while I’m genuinely extremely stresses out by these two things..

1 is nail files being used. If someone starts to use one near me I instantly feel faint, all the hairs on my body stand on end, I feel really stressed and have been known to shriek at a random person in the office to stop it.

2 is weirder. Horrendous phobia of sitting on a chair with bare feet. Can’t explain it. Can’t explain the stress it causes me. Shoes on at the table 🙈

I have 2:

ET - gave me horrendous nightmares and I made my Dad check he wasn’t in my room. Will never forgive my family for making me go on the ride on America either. I can’t even bear the thought of him to be honest.

Heights - anything high. I can’t even watch heights on tv without feeling physically sick and getting sweaty hands. Once on holiday we were so high in the hotel I literally crawled to the window to see the view because I was so bloody petrified!

People dressed as animals - Disneyland would be my hell.

Sloths. Oh yes. This used to be easy to ignore until they were stuck on every bloody item from Pjs to mugs. Used to be a video game where it looked like sloths came out and attacked you. Turned out to be like dead people so it made it 10000% times worse and I literally feel my heart stop whenever I see a sloth 🤣
I will never set foot in Disneyland for this exact reason.

Open heights - can't even go on a balcony , even if its second floor.

The sound of vomiting

Loose hair/s

Plug holes

Exposed feet- in my ideal world exposing feet would been banned once you hit secondry school age.

Whoever said "big things" - totally agree - and also large stretches of water. Felt very odd up a mountain in Lake District once when came across a very large - and still - tarn, with the blue sky reflecting in it so it looked like a massive hole in the mountain if that makes sense 😓

I am absolutely fucking terrified of large Teddy bears. Also, inflatable animals, people dressed up as characters and people touching my neck 😬😬

Pinecones.

Ever since I was a kid I've been scared of them.

Also my Grandma had a blue glass vase that frightened me. I was just a weirdo tbh.

Neighbours noise, babies crying, children screaming, loud people, mouth noises, kissing sounds (makes me see red), loud music coming from other people's residence...

I don't know if I would call it a phobia but it's a massive anxiety trigger, I don't know what it is that I have with uncontrolled noise. It sends me into a fight or flight state of mind, even if I logically know and understand that said "noise" may not be noise at all or perfectly normal in case of a hurt child or a small baby. I try my best not to reflect this on others but in my ideal world, people would stfu whenever I needed them to lmao.

Bah, thanks, I think I uncovered a new one just now. I read an article that you can go snorkeling in Iceland and touch the American and European continent at the same time while in the water and it freaks me out to no end.
