I have to disagree here
It sounds like her friend is the one in need of perspective
Imagine having a friend go through something as awful as a miscarriage and using that ad an opportunity to talk about your problems at work.
I actually think it sounds like from the get go that the friend was trying to do ANYTHING to be an inconvenience. I can't get over her saying to postpone your wedding and this whole thing where she wanted a second dress dumbfounded me.
Can I ask @annabananaw10 has she had a wedding fall through or has recently been dumped or something? I do wonder if part of it is jealousy, either about your marriage or the money you have available for the wedding? I can't imagine a teacher at a low economic school to be highly paid.
Yes, someone's wedding isn't the most important thing to everyone else, but if your volunteer to be MOH you should know it DOES take up your time and it does require effort on your part, your job is more than just being there on the day and wearing a dress.

They say you find out who youe true friends are when you get married and when you have kids and this is why, because many friends show some true colours and parts of themselves you didn't know existed.
Plus because a wedding is such an important day (and costs a lot of money let's just be honest) I think we tend to notice things more and worry more about what could ruin the day.
For example, we are have some very select kids at our wedding- our own son, my fiances niece and nephew and my niece - and that's it. My fiances nephew is quite a badly behaved little boy and doesn't tend to do what he's told, were hoping he may grow out of it by 2023, but I'm already over analysing everything that could go wrong, especially as hes a page boy.
This is where weddings and wedding planning become an absolute circus and a farce.

weddings should cause drama like this. You shouldn’t be worrying 2 years ahead of time about how 1 child may behave on 1 day of that year. That’s madness!!!!!!

huge big circus weddings are pointless and cause far too much stress which just isn’t worth it.

About 15 minutes. I was surprised they interviewed us separately. I could hear my husband to be getting my year of birth wrong from outside the door 🙈😂
I think that’s a perfect number. Will give you time to speak to everyone and you’ll know that everyone there matters to you. I don’t want cousins and aunties I never see there. Would prefer small and intimate. Your wedding will be perfect I’m sure

i would defo shop around and get diff quotes
i still had hair and makeup done for my small wedding and paid £160 for me and my bridesmaid for hair and makeup
Agreed, I found a lovely lady in Edinburgh that's doing my hair and make up, my mums and my MOH all for £220 so it definitely pays to shop around if you did want someone to do your make up. If you have any local wedding fairs coming up, a lot of vendors, including hair and make up, offer up discounts if you book them at a wedding fair.

If you are comfortable doing your own hair and make up though then don't feel like you have to book someone. I just meant if you were a bit like me and was OK at make up but not incredible or didn't like doing your make up when stressed then maybe go with the shop around option.

You don’t need appointments at wed2b (not here anyway). I know a few people who’ve had wed2b dresses, my sister included. I would have too if I hadn’t found mine in a sample sale.

my sister had the straps turned into cap sleeves and diamanté added to her dress. Having said that, they change their stock really often that I don’t think having the same dress as other people is such an issue. I found several I liked that had been on the website for only a week or 2 but were sold out… everyone will make the same dress look different anyway, if you love it go for it, don’t feel like you have to have alterations if you love it how it is
Thank you so much!! I'll see if I need an appointment here and go see if my local one has the dress in stock! ❤

Let's have some fun
Aisle song suggestions or what are you walking down the aisle to

Being a wedding coordinator I tend to see the same 4 or 5
Which are normally
A thousand years - Christina perrie
All of you - John legend
Thinking out loud - ed sheeran
Perfect - ed sheeran
And lately I've had numerous brides want you are the reason - callum scott (which btw I never understand because its a break up song but hey ho 😂)

Different songs I've seen that are lovely
only you- selena gomez cover
Set my world on fire - selestine
Tenerife sea - ed sheeran
Once in a lifetime - landon Austin

I'm torn between two songs
Never enough - cover by Boyce avenue
Or a millions dreams - cover by the piano guys
This is really random, and please listen to it before you judge.. 😆
But, I had 'He sleeps' from the film Pretty woman. Not because of anything to do with the film, I just loved it ❤

There's another version from the actual score that has the orchestra in too which is beautiful. I just loved the simplicity of the piano, and no words.
