I imagine she couldn't stand to see him go on to marry again (which he probably would!) and have more kids with another woman. I expect she feels she is protecting her children but really, it is giving them the absolute worst example of how a happy marriage should be.

I think this is the reason. She knows he’ll move on and carry on having kids with someone else and that would affect her and her kids lives and inheritance.

I’ve just listened to Coleen’s book on Audible. I think she comes across really well and seems down to earth. I found the part about her sister who had Rett syndrome so emotional. To those people who wonder why she forgives Wayne’s infidelity, it could be because she’s a devout catholic?

To be fair that probably isn’t a bad thing for me but I can think of other ways I would have preferred to have been put off crisps. Like someone stabbing me in the eyeballs with them. I think she’s never really spoken out against Wayne due to the fact that she has 4 kids with him and wouldn’t want to add to any embarrassment/stress he’s already caused them (or will cause them in future when they discover what their dads like). He’s done enough harm to the family without her slagging him off all over the papers.

By all accounts, she’s religious and had taken her vows very seriously (despite her husband not). I’m not agreeing with her in the slightest, just trying to understand why she hasn’t outed her dirty dog of a hubby.

By staying involved with someone who actively keeps on cheating on you, you're giving them the green light to continue that. He knows he can go out, do what he likes, and his wife will put up with it. Coleen needs to show herself some respect and also set a good example to her sons that this is unacceptable behaviour. There clearly is something unhappy going on for him to be cheating (not excusing his behaviour) but maybe as others have said they have outgrown each other.
