St John’s Wart is supposed to be good and bach rescue remedyCan anyone recommend anything natural / vitamins for anxiety?
I think it is good to be skeptical about all the supplements. I might move towards a multivitamin supplement to save money and have to take less individual supplements. I guess you can experiment - a lot of people seem to see differences in their bodies after taking collagen.I'm pretty sure the collagen supplements are a bit of a scam
Collagen is a protein so surely when you digest it, it's broken down into its amino acids components like any other protein and they're taken up, or excreted if they're in excess.
I can only think they 'work' because if your body is making a protein and a specific amino acid is limited, that protein cannot be made by the body. Perhaps the collagen supplements provide amino acids which your body lacks through a normal diet...
I'm just trying to say I think they use the word 'collagen' because it's associated with good skin so they charge more, but it's not directly increasing your collagen production etc.
.. if it's helping then fair enough
I take primrose oil with b6 and vitamin d and omega 3 when i remember
i recently bought chewable b12 from aldi, so have a look in there!I take a multivitamin and vitamin C.
I need to find a chewable version (can’t swallow tablets) of b12 and iron though. Can anyone suggest anywhere that sells those?
Thanks for reply! Do you find it made a real difference, not just to your skin, but hair nails etc? Do you usually get off Amazon or direct from manufacturer? What made you choose these, recommendation? So many choices and so many conflicting reviews out thereMy favourite is womens best true beauty (mango flavour). I only buy it when it is on offer. I also like Bulk Vanilla collagen too, usually a discount code for that flying around (I put this in my coffee). Both Powders.
Do you take them for specific reasons/benefits? I take vit d & c six months of the year but am also looking into the B complex.Magnesium, vit d, turmeric, marine collagen, evening primrose oil, B complex
do you mind me asking what probiotic you take?I have a Berocca with MSM sulphur powder, and take Vit D, high strength Vit C, zinc, magnesium, probiotic (never get stomach bugs) and dessicated liver tablet which is high in iron, Vit A and K.
Thanks I had looked into that and it seems like it’s quiet strong so I’m a bit dubious of taking it. I think I have also heard of one called ashwagandha, has anyone tried that?St John’s Wart is supposed to be good and bach rescue remedy
