That's why I was leaving it the now, I'd be rage quiting so hard over that lol, was hoping by now though it at least on consoles would have been fixed, I'd have been pissed paying for it on pc for it to be that standard

The GTA trilogy remaster was such an own goal, I'm honestly stunned they released it in that state.

Gta trilogy won't be fixed quickly! It needs at least 6 more months and that's if they bother to put the resources in to fix it. Doubt it will ever be playable on switch.

I'm on Mario sunshine, finding the lives aspect really annoying and all the wasted time when it's game over to get back to the tricky bit. Don't think there's a cheat for it other than wasting time stocking up on 1ups. Frustrating for no good reason.

Still need to complete skyward sword, I'm on the final battle but you only get a few hearts after you die once and CBA to track back to build things up / get fairy's.

This is the lineup xbox released, personally looking forward to trying a few of them, they got a ton of hate for the kids games because apparently people seem to think it's a 18+ service, I for one am really happy they are bringing out some kids games, with the holidays coming up am looking forward to introducing my neice to the world of gaming, she might like paw patrol

Imagine being mad about there being games for kids! It's definitely cool that there are age appropriate games on there for the kids/younger siblings or relatives of those who pay for Game Pass.

Exactly, people were calling them out for it, I mean jeezz how pathetic, game pass has more than enough games for adults so it's about time they added more kids games, to me game pass actually lacks in that, I really wouldn't have many games to really let me neice play an unlike some who would let their 6 year old play things like halo or gta I certainly won't be one that allows it

I enjoyed Firewatch.
Some people will complain about absolutely everything. I like some of the games aimed at children for when you want to game but not have to concentrate too much!

Firewatch was good, the soundtrack I often listen to. A shame they never followed it up - that ancient Egypt sequal I think they binned off.

I've never tried firewatch so am going give that a go, honestly I'll probably download all of them an try them out, it's no loss if some arnt for me

The twitter for gaming is insanly toxic, there's people that's never happy with whatever they do an most of it is over stupid things that just because it's not for them then they will witch forgetting there's others out there that will love with those people are complaining about

One thing I really miss about PS2 era (and its competitors I just happened to have a ps2 not Xbox or Nintendo ) is the abundance of kid friendly Games - you had spyro/crash (and then all the other animal platformer games) but also just a lot of movie tie in games for children's movies and the Lego games were obviously new and a huge hit.

Nowadays it seems the hugely popular kids games are all online - Roblox, Minecraft, Fortnite - so you have the worry about them staying safe. Then you have the people letting their kids on Call of duty etc because apart from Nintendo there doesn't seem to be many "high budget" video games aimed specifically at kids anymore which is a shame.

If anyone has kids the Nintendo switch is deffo the way to go as they're waaaaay ahead of Sony/Microsoft when it comes to good quality child friendly video games - animal crossing, Pokémon, mario, breath of the wild etc

Changing the topic and getting off my soapbox - Not had much spare time lately but have played some of Psychonauts 2 and it was bloody brilliant, that game deserves so much more recognition than its getting, even if it's art style is certainly one that requires getting used to.

Only annoying thing is constantly having to switch which powers are mapped to your controller and the loadtimes seem a bit long for a modern game. Really charming game though, the characters are fun and I've enjoyed the puzzles and exploring the levels so far.

Totally agree with you, my bro had a ps1 an 2 an I loved crash an spyro, the new gen does seem to be more shooter/fighting heavy which am not really into, and isn't great for kids

It's a pity the Nintendo games are more on the expensive side because I feel they have the best age range in games, even some of the ones aimed at kids are actually enjoyable an many are really colourful as well, the spongebob game is really fun

Most of those games have been released today that I posted from the xbox game pass, going be downloading them soon

It’s excellent, I completed it last week. Loved the story and gameplay and also really enjoyed going back through all the brains once I’d unlocked all the abilities to make sure I got all the collectibles.
